I say yes.

I have such a man crush on Mike Mac it's not even funny. Where he goes, I go. Where he goes, the team goes.

It's not ideal to lose most of our starting DL in this game but the Lions have their fair share of injuries too. I'm not going to change my prediction of our first loss of the season (I've gone back and forth on that publicly this past week), but I will not be surprised in the least if they come out 7-0 against that team in the last 7 matchups.

We see each and every week how teams can be up and down. One week you are stars, the next you are chumps.

Weather or no, the Jets lost to the Broncos at home yesterday. Rodgers was rendered anemic.

If the Chargers don't crap the bed, they beat the less-than powerful Chiefs.

Any given gameday.

This is not a look ahead to next week business but I get to do that as a Couch Coach. You come away with a win tonight, take care of a very very beatable Giants team at home next week and suddenly we are 5-0.

5-0.

We can do this.

I know I am ready to have a few cocktails and maybe some buffalo chicken dip from Publix. I am worried about the D-line, but with McD as the coach, he can make chicken salad out of chicken....

You're just talking dirty now, I miss Publix like you read about. I get a sub sammich everytime I'm back there, their fried chicken is really good too.

Tough to gameplan around the absence of your entire starting DL.

Jarran Reed, Johnathan Hanks, and Derick Hall are in there. I'd like to think they'll do some damage.

But the offense had better come prepared to play, because our DL will be tiring out and the Lions offense will be doing damage in the 4th.

Well, Seahawks going into the week are like, the 31st rated offensive line (both pass blocking AND run blocking), so that's sad. That said, Detroit is a top tier pass rush... that's actually rated below both Denver and New England going into the week. So, this isn't new territory for us, and we are one week further into our groove as an offense.

I wouldn't be shocked if this week isn't the one in which we step up and start to look a little bit more like the offense we had towards the end of last year. (That said, Aidan Hutchinson is a top-rated pass rusher, so you know... our OL will need to step up.)

Overall, though, do I think our offense can score on them? Yeah.

It'll just matter how our defense shows up with that front seven being completely ravaged. We've had some trouble stopping the run, even with a fully healthy front 7, so that's our weakness and we just got (potentially) weaker. And Detroit is one of the top rushing offenses right now. That could be a problem.

Yes. The defense will still be stout, they just won't get a lot of sacks and what not. This team gets better every week.

After watching the Ravens D we still need to tackle better , im sure we can and i wouldn't be one bit surprised if our depth comes up big
That being said i also feel like this is the week MM unleashes the playbook and we come away with it winners

Fingers are crossed indeed but I will be watching closely.

Against the Lions protection of Geno and strength against the run will be the keys to success. if they can accomplish both I have High hope for 4-0 start.

I am having a root canal at 3 pm, but pending permission from the oral surgeon, I have a bottle of Franciacorta ready and am cooking alle vongole tonight in anticipation of our victory.

Coach MM gave the Lions fits while running the D in Baltimore. I have to believe that continues. I say Hawks pull out a close one!

Let’s hope they are.
I’m expecting a loss as I’ve clearly stated and been blasted for.

My prayer is that I’m proven wrong.

I think the two keys to a win will be:

1) our DBs and LB’s are going to need to step up and have a Hell of a game.

2) if our O line is going to “gel” and become a “unit” tonight better be their debut.

Edit. Jackson only threw 18 times last night while the Ravens killed the bills.
The Detroit run game scares me with our Dline being decimated.
