The fact Scruggs is a Inside/DE hybrid would, in theory, make him instantly better vs the run on that side. And, being that he's actually played real football longer than Irvin, I'm assuming he has more technique and moves to utilize.

Imagine being a right tackle, and you have to block Irvin and Scruggs on successive plays. Big gear change there.

That 8 man rush they threw at Cousins was awesome. It looked like they sent everyone but the waterboy. Washington was totally unprepared.

Which is what they may have to do with Clem out. Everyone on the D needs to step it up, including Gus Bradley! Cannot spot the opponents 14 points this week, in game adjustments need to be made quicker this week IMHO!
