I think with the circus that would follow Kaep it is safe to assume that Boykin would have the advantage of a less stressful situation. I've tried to watch Kaepernick with an open mind and give him a fair shake talent wise but I can never bring myself to seriously see him being a QB I would want leading my team. He just seems to look lost sometimes. The only thing in his favor at the moment is experience in big games. That is a big thing.
Boykin, on the other hand, hasn't had a chance to show how good he can be. He looked pretty good last night but it is preseason so that says nothing.
I would take Kaepernick if I needed to win a game immediately but I would take the chance with Boykin in a long term situation.
