Yes this maybe true but you give Geno way too much credit. He's a backup that so far is having a good year, nothing more at this point.

Geno’s arm talent has never been in question. Did he do some stupid things during his time with the Jets early in his career that were immature? Sure, but he’s grown as a player and a teammate. The guy has battled to get to where he is now and he’s done it the right way. As for Jimmy….. Why doesn’t Kyle run the same system he had with Matt Ryan? Easy, Jimmy lacks the arm strength needed to make 30 yard laser throws downfield, instead implemented a more quarterback friendly system for Jim to run.

You keep comparing Jimmy G to Geno. I'm not, just talking about Geno. Geno is and always will be a "back up". Until he consistently proves otherwise IMHO, that is what he is. I can live with it until such time as he is replaced with a true franchise QB.

For the past months, every time when I talked up Geno, I used Jimmy as comparison, in fact calling Geno as poor men's Jimmy. I am hereby apologize to Geno, he is above Jimmy, I was wrong about the poor men's Jimmy bit.
