I can get that on the national news lol! No love for the PNW on that side of the fence eitherIf you had ever visited those sites, you would have an increased appreciation for this site, and why the more knowledgeable, and reasonable, fans of other teams will hang around here.
I, for one, appreciate their input. It’s nice to get a different perspective on our team, and our opponents, without the rose colored Seahawks fan glasses.
First time meeting someone with bad jokes.
And who are you actually?
You're just as new here as I am yet you know this supposed long-time 49ers fan here?
Very SUS.![]()
The national news reports on, and provides perspective on, the Seahawks? Must live in a different country than I do.I can get that on the national news lol! No love for the PNW on that side of the fence either![]()

Sorry that the cheap humor in your life has been so lacking. Let me continue to add to your cup.

Let’s just say I’m someone who has been around forums long enough to recognize contributors who add value.
Or, perhaps, just someone who has been a reader of this forum for even longer than our dear @94Smith has been a contributor, and who has appreciated his insight over the years.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well she didn't lambast me (or give me any snark) for talking about Darnold (like that so-called "wonderful" 49ers fan that Trackhawk is glazin' so hard about) so I can see why she's well-liked around here.@RedAlice is a rams fan but around here she is royalty
Sure I get your point but you also pointed out it was a separate *AREA* where smack talk was expected and, in some respects, encouraged. When I was a Mod I worked very hard to help have the NFL forum be a discussion forum that other fans could come in and ask questions about us, give their two cents and us ask them about there team, it worked very well for a long time, we even had pick um contests between everyone for a while and Red Alice was running it. The Smack Shack is for talking shit, good natured ribbing has always been allowed here, thats different.
Problem is some Seahawks fans think and thought it was all inclusive to be just for Seahawks fans, that gets old, we regurgitate the same thinking over and over with the Rose Colored Glasses approach, or Eeyore mentality.
If you take advantage of their perspective and thoughts you might be surprised.
Oh and sure there was some initial weeding out, many of the visitors could not find the Smack Shack. But I think it was worth it in the long run.
Whereas the games before, Darnold and the Panthers were in an unlikely playoff chase.
Once they lost Game 5 of that 4-1 stretch (thus eliminating the Panthers from the playoff chase), everyone basically packed it in for Game 6.
My aim was to illustrate that Sam Darnold had a stretch during games that actually MATTERED where he played well.
Uhhhh…..Sure I get your point but you also pointed out it was a separate *AREA* where smack talk was expected and, in some respects, encouraged.
Let me point out that in my original post that started this back-and-forth mess with that Niners fan, I was not comparing Darnold to Purdy. I was illustrating a point about Darnold as pertains to how he can survive without Kevin O' Connell, Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and TJ Hockenson.
That Niners fan took umbrage in that I left out a game (during that '22 Panthers season) that I specifically pointed out "Meant nothing" at that time while clarifying why I only included the previous 5-game sample size (they were in a playoff race so those 5 games actually meant something at the time) to show that last season wasn't the first time ever that Darnold played well when the games mattered.
Hence my statement in response to his ridicule :
I stopped talking about Brock Purdy after my statement that he wouldn't be able to survive without Shannahan coaching him.
That's the extent of me caring to talk about another QB here. I then switched to OUR QB and that was that.
Hope that clears things up for everyone here.![]()
