Man if that guy doesn’t get any help in the running game he looks like ass. I wonder if they’re thinking about turning to Purdy’s ass

Admittedly bad. Don't lash out because your goof of a quarterback Orlovsky'd the game away.Blew out your defense … how bad does that make them ?
That was expected after an emotional dump the week before.Next game will be different guaranteed. It’s how the teams finish tbh. This defense is young but they’ll eventually clickBlew out your defense … how bad does that make them ?
The 408 yards and 27 points yesterday tell me something hasn’t clicked yet. If we could meld the 49ers defense with the Seahawks offense one of us might have a winning recordThat was expected after an emotional dump the week before.Next game will be different guaranteed. It isn’t in the cards this year for this young Hawks team. A lot of young talent but they need another loaded draft next year to really set them up for the future. I like the direction they’re headed despite losing. Stepping out of the back of the end zone saved a pick six albeit totally unintentional. The 408 yards and 27 points yesterday tell me something hasn’t clicked yet. How often are NFL QBs passing from there? I doubt they practice that much. Can somebody please explain to me how a veteran NFL quarterback who has played a ton of football didn't realize where the end zone line was.
Better than those guys at what?Hes not the worst qb in the league lmao. He's better than Fields and Lance. Better than Flacco in his current state and Zach Wilson behind him. Arguably better than Jameis. Better than Mills on the Texans. Probably better than mariotta
It doesn't matter. The play started at his own 2 and he should have known when he was getting close to the end zone line. And like I said, there were obvious visual ques present that he should have picked up on. He was running towards it so he didn't even have to turn his head, just a quick eye movement that doesn't take a tenth of a second. How often are NFL QBs passing from there? WRs practice that all the time, so I doubt the muscle memory is the same. Not saying that Jimmy didn't royally mess up, but I think people are way overstating it. I don't see it as some all-time gaffe.Without looking directly at it, wide receivers know to the inch where a sideline or end zone line is. It's not hard to do if you're conscious of it, if you know when you're getting close. Jimmy just plain f-ed up.
WR's don't have to practice knowing where they are on the field. That part comes naturally. You or me could figure out when to stop our feet within inches of stepping on the sideline. What they practice is timing their momentum carrying them out of bounds/falling down with the arrival of the pass and making the catch while keeping both feet on the ground, dragging their trailing foot, etc.WRs practice that all the time, so I doubt the muscle memory is the same.
