This will be so much better. They think they are going all the way st home.
If I'm a Niners fan, I don't think I would be feeling good about this upcoming game even at home.

Their defense is total ASS so look for the Darnold/JSN show to make its triumphant return in this one.

But without Rashid, though, we are going to need Cooper Kupp to make some big plays as well as using AJ Barner more.

I’m still bewildered the Niners have 12 wins. I have friends who are avid Niner fans and they’re like “I don’t even know who half these guys are’.

This makes me throw up a little in my mouth to say, but their coaching staff has done a phenomenal job. Man, I sure wish we could have had our home game with them later in the year instead of week one.

I've been watching my Niners since BEFORE Dwight made " THE CATCH". I usually know every starter and how long they have been on the team, and who they played for before they came to the 49ers.

Tonight when NBC was naming the starters on defense, I looked over at my wife and said " I only recognize 2 of the 11 starters "
Most of these guys are rookies or practice squad players from other teams. It is why they are garbage. But they will be playing against Darnold.

Next week will come down to Purdy and Darnold. Which one of these guys makes the least amount of mistakes.
The Seahawks Defense is young and has zero experience in the playoffs. Darnold is inexperienced in the playoffs.
This Seahawks team could very well be the 2023 Detroit Lions.
Purdy and the 49ers offense has the advantage/experience of being in the big games before, and playing pretty good.

49ers win by 6 in a nail biter.

Seahawks win 38-21.

Offense finally comes alive due to the fact that the Niners Defense is pure ASS.

And the Seattle D shows the Niners what an actual defense looks like 'cause they sure as hell didn't face one last night.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the hamstring injury to Trent Williams which will almost certainly rule him out for the finale next week....against the Seahawks front, this is a huge loss. Having watched what Indy and Chicago have done against this SF defense, I would be very hopeful Seattle wins this going away.

I mentioned it but in another thread.

It is a GIGANTIC LOSS for the Niners and may be the key to our Front 7 in getting home on Purdy-Mouth next Saturday.

BTW, from Fieldgulls (take this for what you will) :

Teams are 2-12-1 the week after playing the Bears this season.

Bet the Seahawks next week.

teams are also 3-13 playing the Seahawks.....

[lets ignore the silly little comeback that SF are 1-0 playing us :D]
That doesn't count anyway because Kubiak wasn't using the Gameplan we've been using since Week 2.

Woolen legit cost them that game with 2 separate idiotic plays. The huge pass play and then the TD.
He almost did it after that and the AZ game.. seems when he got the injury and got benched for a little did he straighten his shit out.

I'm thoroughly convinced even if we win it all, we still will recoeve zero respect from the NFL. Really Steelers vs Ravens? Sunday prime time? 🤮

Either way both these teams are playing against each other in the divisional round again in couple weeks as the 1 vs 6.

Ridiculous that they put this game on Saturday night after Seattle takes an the East Coast trip six days before to then have to turn around and travel to San Francisco.

Only one way to look at it. Saturday night IS the start of the playoffs. This is a NFC West Division Championship game.
The ONLY good thing about the 29ers winning is that it takes the Clams out of the contention for the division.
They can cry some more. Maybe some Waaaahmburgers and French Cries.

It’s crazy that, in MM’s first two seasons, the Seahawks have played the regular season finale for the divisional crown.

While it’s befuddling to me that he isn’t in the conversation for coach of the year, and as much as I hate the Niners and most of their fans, I begrudgingly have to admit that what Shanny has done, despite so many inujuries, has to make him a shoe in for that honor.

Particularly since the Seahawks were ranked #30 in defense in 2023. The "genius" label probably gets thrown around the league too much, but he legitimately seems to be one.

I've been forgetting that Kupp is on the team...would be nice to see him to step up.
