We started rookie QB's on both sides of the ball. Both matured amazingly fast along with cohesion across the entire team. With another offseason where Russ isn't coming in as a Rookie fighting for a spot on the team, let alone the lead dog role, I expect we'll see something amazing next year. The way Russell prepares and takes his job so seriously, I highly doubt we'll see a sophomore slump.
This team is YOUNG and primed for a long window. We've got 5-10+ years of good football ahead of us. We endured one of Hasselbeck's worst seasons and one season of Tarvaris Jackson at the helm and then got our next QBOFT who appears at this juncture to be a step ahead of Hasselbeck. Rejoice in the fact that we're not stuck in QB hell like Arizona, KC, Cleveland, Jacksonville, etc.
