Tomorrow at Candlestick

On one hand, it would be great to win for all the reasons many have already mentioned throughout the last week.
On the other hand...

•We have nothing to prove. We are in great form, have talent runamok and are firmly and decidedly a Superbowl winning caliber team!

•We shouldn't need HFA throughout the playoffs because the SB is a road game so if we can't dominate on the road.. what does it matter... really?

•The "monkey on back" is clear that number one seeds have not had such a great history obtaining SB victories as their crowning achievements.

So ... suddenly this is JUST ANOTHER GAME... and maybe, just maybe it isn't as important as some might seem, maybe it's even MORE important that REGARDLESS OF THE OUTCOME TOMORROW... I WANT A SB VICTORY and..AND I'm willing to give up EVERYTHING ELSE (including a wins against arch rivals) to win the ultimate prize!!!

What is this seemingly incurable Seahawk fan malady where you can't actually have it all?

So, wondering if you want to win is a bit silly.

But recognizing that this is about as far from a must win game since the mora era is a fair point.

If you are "conflicted" about "wanting" the Seahawks to lose to SF, then you out to have your membership card revoked.

Great idea. Let's lose tomorrow, have to go to the east coast for a 10am game next week against a hot Giants team and then play 2 semi tough games against division opponents. Oy.

In the long term, definitely more than just another game. We blow SF out back to back at home, then beat them at the Stick, and suddenly SF has many more questions than answers. This game is about creating further self doubt in our (current) arch rival and that should pay dividends going forward.

If SF loses tomorrow, they are done. I want that for them.

I'm just sayin', I'm so confident in the Hawks ability to "take it home" this year, this one game may not be any negative impact on the bigger picture.

Only TWO number one seeds won the SB in the last decade! So for us to win the BIG ONE. I'm just ... I don't care about anything else. I won't trade the SB crown for any other wins!

Do what I do when feeling anxious or nervous. Watch all the highlight reels of our Seahawks and suddenly I feel grounded.

hope that helps. It's ok to be part of a winning team. Enjoy the ride 12.

Yeah, I want a win, you know I do... but I wonder should it matter? That's the way I should have presented this post to start with... SHOULD IT REALLY MATTER?!

Bah, 49'ers... just another team... on our path.

Why does it have to be against the number one seed to win the SB? I don't like it... I just do not!
