What is this seemingly incurable Seahawk fan malady where you can't actually have it all?
I was wondering why he has a problem with us having "nice things"?

I disagree where you say the SB is a road game. No it's a neutral field game. And the SB is not on a short week or a 10am start time. If the Seahawks make it to New York, they'll be well accumulated to the eastern time zone haven spent a full week there. Also a challenge on the road is the crowd noise. Being a neutral field and the way Hawks fans are traveling now, I'd say the offense won't have much noise to deal with when they're on the field.

Tomorrow at Candlestick

On one hand, it would be great to win for all the reasons many have already mentioned throughout the last week.
On the other hand...

•We have nothing to prove. We are in great form, have talent runamok and are firmly and decidedly a Superbowl winning caliber team!

•We shouldn't need HFA throughout the playoffs because the SB is a road game so if we can't dominate on the road.. what does it matter... really?

•The "monkey on back" is clear that number one seeds have not had such a great history obtaining SB victories as their crowning achievements.

So ... suddenly this is JUST ANOTHER GAME... and maybe, just maybe it isn't as important as some might seem, maybe it's even MORE important that REGARDLESS OF THE OUTCOME TOMORROW... I WANT A SB VICTORY and..AND I'm willing to give up EVERYTHING ELSE (including a wins against arch rivals) to win the ultimate prize!!!

Maybe an "intervention" thread in the shack needs to be created. Throw your sorrows and sadness in the bin. Who wants a superb ###. Silence of the lambs.

Take them out behind the smack shack...

LOL ... Did you miss superbowl 40 in Detroit. That was far from a neutral field 5% verses 95% of the crowd.

This game is about destroying, crushing, and humiliating a hated rival any chance you get....and doing our part at ending their season early. A Muskox fight happens Sunday at 1pm....and we come to take the girl! :snack:
