If The Score Was 23-6 Would You Guys Still Be Complaining?

We won 20-13 I have no complaints cause our defense played good in my opinion. For those complaining did you see Chris Johnson's stats and how many INT's did Fitzpatrick throw again? For those of you saying we were subpar or mediocre just remember all it took was that 1 play when we were kicking a FG and they returned it for a TD. If that never happened the score would of been 23-6. We didn't give up an offensive TD all game I thought we plyed very good, not great but very good. Am I the only one?

We want SUPER BOWLS. This team was NOT a Super Bowl caliber team today, people have a right to be upset. Things should/will get cleaned up but it is actually ok to not be happy with a teams performance.

No, it's not. They won. You don't win Super Bowl in October.

Too much touch & go in this game, and we've "SUPPOSEDLY" have already faced some of the tougher Defenses, and yet we don't absolutely DOMINATE at our own house on this one?
I'm happy we won this one, but, we sure as hell didn't stomp their asses on either side of the ball, until late in the game, this one could have gone EITHER WAY, and that's not Super Bowl play.
Ryan Fitz. looked like an all pro for most of this game SMH

I'm with you OP. There were some flukey plays and a couple of breakdowns, but overall the team looked good and had a pretty dominating performance. If it weren't for those few plays, the score would have been much more lopsided. No team is perfect. The Hawks are 5-1 and sitting on top of the NFC. Let's be happy and excited about where we are at.

We played well enough to beat the Titans. But I'm still thinking there's room for improvement...so WE DON'T SUCK. 7 pt win over a Fitz led Titan team at home is far from exceptional. The play calling is still suspect on both sides of the ball and the execution only moderately better. Whether a person feels this team excelled today or not, is very subjective and a matter of opinion. My opinion is we looked nothing like a SB team. In fact, all things considered, we looked worse this week, at home, than we did last week vs, a good home, Colts team.

Pete has his hands full over the next couple of days. We play like this in Zona and we will fly away tied with the 9ers in the division and a game behind NO in the conference. Props to RW and ML in particular. Kearse , Tate and Baldwin are steady but Rice's acrobatic catch was not enough to get off my sh*t list. Sherm and Rice had similar days today, actually. Browner sucked and is becoming a liability. And where the hell was Irvin? 6 weeks into the season and he's made like 2 plays. The suspension is on him, so not a valid excuse. Irvin's contributions have been only moderately better than Michael's.

Rant over (for now).

Ebb and flow- We are bound to have a few games like these during the course of the year. When we ebb and are still in the games I really cant complain. We are a little bit broken right now and were still 5-1. The only thing with me is that these games are taking their toll on my life expectancy. IMHO we will play our best ball when we get the o-line firing on all cylinders and Pete finally decides what he wants for our d-line. Pete said he will be experimenting with the D-line for a couple more weeks (last week) and I think its evident that our o-line needs Okung back. I'm enjoying the W's.

Let's hope so. The "oh well, we'll get 'em next time" approach of years past didn't work out so well.

Too many Hawk fans think they're a better fan for tolerating losing and/ or not questioning poor play. That's no different from saying "I'm a better citizen because I never question my government".

We are what we are.

Not sure we can complain about it, it just looks like it might be that this team is nowhere near as good as I expected it would be.

Does anyone else believe we can beat NO in Seattle if we play like this? Then again based on how we have been playing recently a lot of other teams on the schedule look more dangerous than I would have expected.

Can we get better? Hopefully. If we don't? Then we probably do not have to worry about it because it won't matter.

This. There were a small handful of mistakes but those looked to be pretty unique. I love what I saw today.

The optimists think the pessimists are overreacting and being overly critical in a win. The pessimists think the optimists are ignoring obvious negatives and just seeing things through there blue glasses.

Just another day on .net.

p.s. Us optimists rule!

Can we all put away the "Super Fan" card?????????????? I hate it when someone tells someone else how to feel.

We won, we are 5-1, not happy about some break downs and dumb play, but it is fixable. I'm going to enjoy 5-1, 1st place in the division, and tied for 1st in the HFA for the NFC, while realizing there is tons of room for improvement.

Not saying there isn't any cause for concern, but the game pretty much went the Seahawks way outside of all the freak plays. We continued to drive down their throats on offense and our defense got some stops but definitely need to improve. I'm more worried about our defense at this point than our offense. They haven't been this inconsistent since Idk when. Wilson continues to bail us out with his legs. He does occasionally get some time to throw the ball, but our receivers just aren't getting open and when they do happen to get open, Wilson is already thinking about scrambling.

To repeat the question, the game really was 23-6 if not for the fluke.

Are you feeling this way if the final is 23-6??

QB, RB, WR all played terrific. OL looked like 2012 again. Coleman had that heart stopping fumble, but improved as a lead blocker (though Lynch still doesn't trust him). Lynch had that heart stopping fumble too, but it's only fitting a couple bounces go our way the way the rest of the game went.

On defense, Seattle forced Fitzpatrick to move quite often with the pass rush, and the vast majority of his passes targeted receivers less than 10 yards downfield, which is also a sign of respect for the rush. The run defense was mostly stellar, KJ Wright had a few small flubs but otherwise survived at MLB. Browner appeared to have a bit of a tough day- the rest of the LOB did not. Kearse had a big return and two impressive receptions. It's a shame about those two touchbacks and the uber-fluke TD- other than that our special teams was playing very well.

Wilson is not getting praised enough for his recent play. He's always been a dual threat QB, but not like this. Not like the last 3 weeks. His ability to punish defenses with consistency running the ball since the Houston game has been a revelation. 240 yards rushing over the last 3 games, and a ton of first downs as a result of them.

No team is Super Bowl caliber in week 6.
