The strange dynamic with success is gauging current success with past success. In the last half of 2012 we set the bar SO HIGH that we now expect that level of play every week. A few weeks from now we will only look back at this game as a 'W' and that is all that will mater.

Mishaps happen...how the team deals with making the necessary corrections will be the rudder that guides the Seahawks ship. These are correctable things.

GO HAWKS!!

BlueTalons, I don't think we expect that level of play EVERY week; but not having seen it once in 6 weeks is what has me concerned.

We've played multiple games without our starting OTs, C and a TE, who happens to block like a tackle. And yet, we're still #1 in the CONFERENCE in point differential. Top 10 in both YPG and PPG. Defense is playing elite as it should. We should be 6-0, if not for some questionable officiating. We just out-gained our last opponent 404-223. We're 5-1 in the NFL. 5 and 1 after the toughest stretch of the schedule. Five and one.

If the score was 50-2 in favor of the Titans, would you feel different?

each week, the opposition brings their a-game because we're the team to beat. with that in mind we're doing fairly well.

winning at arizona this week would be a big deal. tough to win those thursday-night road games.

is browner literally hamstrung? nagging hamstring?

Wilson is not getting praised enough for his recent play. He's always been a dual threat QB, but not like this. Not like the last 3 weeks. His ability to punish defenses with consistency running the ball since the Houston game has been a revelation. 240 yards rushing over the last 3 games, and a ton of first downs as a result of them.

I think someone should find that guy who posited that Wilson wasn't scrambling enough to make defenses pay for overcommitting to the receivers and give that guy a pat on the back.

Honestly,

I rather every game be a grind and a challenge.

I rather this team beat themselves, rather than the opposing team beat them.

If every game was a stroll in the park, then the team in my opinion would become rather over confident.

But players are making mistakes, and they'll get better, and the Seahawks will be better because of it.

First half of the season, I think its more important to get everyone on the same the page moving forward rather than just being wholesomely dominant.

I really want to see the fumbles and mental errors go away. Also, I feel the team is really jumping the gun with the 'Making of a Champion' video. The goal is to go 1-0 every week, so why isn't a title like "One and Oh!" more appropriate. Seriously through, I wonder if ridiculous undertakings such at that are affecting their focus.

We want SUPER BOWLS. This team was NOT a Super Bowl caliber team today, people have a right to be upset. Things should/will get cleaned up but it is actually ok to not be happy with a teams performance.

Do you know which teams looked like Superbowl contenders in October last year?
The Falcons
In 2011?
The Packers
In 2010?
The Patriots
In 2009?
The Colts
In 2008?
The Titans
In 2007?
The Patriots

What do they all have in common?

Don't forget about the 2012 Texans

Win by 1 on Thursday, I'm plenty satisfied. Of course, many will think the sky has fallen if we don't win by 20 :?

I am not complaining. I like to let it out in game day forums and then just let it go.
I had to stay away from all the negativity here the past couple days or I would give myself heartburn! lol
Yeah we look ugly, But we are winning and I hope the coaches fix the issues. There isn't anything I can do about it. Calling players out certainly doesn't fix it. But I guess that is what forums are for. I am still worried about this game with the Cards. They have handed it to us in the past even with their mediocre play and record. We aren't playing exactly lights out!

SB or not... We r a winning team and whether u win a SB by 5 or 50... It's still winning. In other news KC has beaten our decibel levels at home somehow. I will be traveling to the Vikings game on Nov 17 to rectify that record. Anyone going to that game?

Those that are complaining/worrying must not be paying attention and those that are saying everything's great are asleep at the wheel. We had over 400 yards of offense. Titans offense didn't score a TD. We were OK. I was at the game and when it was tied at the start of the 4th I was concerned. All it would have taken was another fluke play, of which there were way too many, sloppy, sloppy, sloppy plays on our part, and we could have lost the game. We didn't thanks to Russell's legs. Oline is weak on pass protection and our receivers don't get enough separation. That said, with the way our defense played, I knew if we could get ahead we would win and felt that we would, despite shooting ourselves in the foot repeatedly.

I'd give the Defense an A- and the offense a C+. What is worth being concerned about is that performance, the way the offense played, what was on the field this last Sunday? Not gonna beat Denver, not Indianapolis, not the Patriots and not the 49'ers. That will not beat a lot of teams in the NFL.

What is hopeful is we have time. Time to get healthier, time to integrate Harvin, we have time...barring any more injuries, to get a lot better. We haven't even come close to peaking. And that prospect should scare the hell out of any team we play.
