Stefanski was interim O.C. for the Vikings in 2018, promoted to full time O.C. for 2019

From: https://www.vikings.com/news/numbers-of-note-vikings-2019-offense

Here are 10 season-ending numbers of note regarding the Vikings offense:

391 — points scored by Vikings offensive players in 2019, which is the fourth-most by Minnesota in a season since 1991 (518 in 1998, 447 in 2009 and 397 in 2000)

107.4 — Kirk Cousins finished with a season-long passer rating of 107.4, which is the second-highest by a Vikings quarterback in a season. His mark was ahead of Brett Favre's career best of 107.2 in 2009 and behind the 110.9 by Daunte Culpepper in 2004.

5 — Cousins had a completion percentage of 80 or higher in five games to set an NFL single-season record. He also tied four other quarterbacks for the most games (nine) of 2019 with a passer rating of 100.0 or higher.

13 — Dalvin Cook scored 13 rushing touchdowns, which is tied for the second-most by a Vikings running back in a single season. Adrian Peterson set the record with 18 in 2009, topping 13 by Chuck Foreman in 1975 and 1976 and Terry Allen in 1992

476 — rush attempts by the Vikings, which ranked fourth-most in the NFL in 2019 and was an increase of 119 carries over the total of 357 by Minnesota in 2018 that ranked 27th

8 — Stefon Diggs recorded eight receptions of 40 or more yards to tie for the NFL lead. He also tied for sixth in the league with 20 receptions that gained 20 or more yards this season.

129.9 — Adam Thielen generated a passer rating of 129.9 when targeted on passes of 20-plus air yards, the fifth-highest in the NFL in 2019.

39 — receptions by Kyle Rudolph, bringing his career total to 425, which ranks fifth among any player and second among tight ends in Vikings history

28 — sacks suffered by the Vikings offense in 2019, which was 12 fewer than the previous season

4,363 — Vikings players under the age of 26 totaled 4,363 yards from scrimmage, accounting for 77.1 percent of Minnesota's total 5,656 net yards. The 4,363 scrimmage yards was the fifth-highest across the NFL by players younger than 26 and second among teams that made the playoffs

I posted the same thing about the Colts head coach. The Giants head coach is another option. There should be some great candidates.

which one of them is your favorite?
Good question. It's hard for me to rank these guys, but I would be absolutely thrilled with Stefanski, Daboll or Steichen. Can you imagine the Seahawks having an OC that is so good at his job that he had been given the chance to be a HC? This is exactly what we need. No more first-timers! Another reason it would be great is because they are less likely to get poached due to it not working out previously as a HC.

I've said for a while that I think Stefanski is a bit overrated, but with two recent Coach of the Year awards, I don't think he's going to have to settle for a coordinator job yet.

If Stefanski made the call to get Watson he deserves to be fired but guessing it was a Haslam decision so not the coaches fault...

The Browns just fired Ken Dorsey & Andy Dickerson, which basically confirms that Stefanski is gonna remain the HC next season.
Couple of thoughts on these firings.
-Despite this year not working out here in Seattle, firing Dickerson was not a mistake
-Re. Dorsey. Back when Gregg Olson was part of the Team3 propaganda and throwing shade at the Hawks, he made a tweet the night Allen sliced up the Rams in Dorsey's first game as HC. He claimed when asked he strongly recommended the Hawks search for OC should start and end with Dorsey. Whoops

I’m not sure you can objectively evaluate anyone on the Browns coaching staff other than those directly responsible for the Watson contact.

There isn’t a coach alive who wouldn’t be somewhat handcuffed in this league when your fully guaranteed $230 million QB literally quits on your team.

It’s like firing your track coach for not winning a meet when the premiere sprinter recruit shows up with one leg.
