+1000At this point we should bench him for the rest of the season. Lock ain't it but it'll make us feel comfortable knowing which one to cut

I dont consider Geno 15-20, more like 15 exactly.
I also don’t think it’s easy to find a top 15 qb, so drafting some bum at 17th overall doesn’t excite me like some of you.
Geno is being what he always has been.......a back up QB. Why are we surprised or maybe not?Geno is trash, so tired of seeing him. I've said before we know what he is and what we're going to get when he starts. Time to see what Lock can do and if he learned anything by his time sitting for a year.
Thanks for reminding us, Pete.High throws over the middle are dangerous.
True. Man, how sad is that.Geno had a better first half than Lock did last week.
One great throw and he too can be a hero.
I didn’t mean it like that. Geno has been a little high on throws today. Thanks for reminding us, Pete.
Meh neither were good. Geno has to play much better in the second half and he’s capable so hopefully he doesGeno had a better first half than Lock did last week.

Lock at least had an excuse, he hadn’t had much starting time the past couple years. What is Genos excuse?True. Man, how sad is that.
Honestly that seems to be his biggest issue. He's does fine when it comes out on-time.He's got to get the ball out quicker...i feel like he's trying to think too much and not just hit his drop back foot and get it out.
Odd. He road the bench for like 12 years. More like 25. There are 17 teams that would take him as a starter.
Out of all of the most irrelevant and misleading ways to evaluate caliber, this is the most bare-assed naked weaksauce I've seen in my life.Teams Geno would start for if their starter was healthy.

Geno is now around the 25th ranked QB in the league. Some teams have backups better than him. Calling him top 15 at this juncture is pure delusion.
There's my proofThis is demonstrably false. He's one of the better QBs in the league at sack avoidance by almost every single advanced metric.
That last play was a good example.
I didn't get a good look downfield, but who was open? It looked like all vertical routes (perhaps not straight verts, but vertical in nature) without an especially valid option. I don't think that this qualifies as proof that too many unnecessary, QB-fault sacks are taken by him. He's statistically good at mitigating sacks on the overall scale. There's my proof
