You ever hear his wife talk? He's going to play forever just so he doesn't have to spend extra time at home.

Yeah. My condolences to him.

You mean to tell me he couldn't find anyone better than....*that*? 200

Anyway, I dislike Stafford due to him bitching about the 2-pt conversion (remember that, guys?) in that Thursday night game as if the Refs f*cked them over when they really didn't.

I also dislike him for acting like the Refs are against them which is the biggest load of horsesh*t I've ever heard.

That said, I do respect him as a Player, though and what he's accomplished.

I can consider him a Douche while acknowledging how damn good a QB he has been throughout his career at the same time, you know?

“Go win you damn Super Bowl!” He said to Kupp. I screamed madly at the team three times that game. #1 when Young over ran that first muffed punt. #2 Woolen. #3 When Stafford snuck past Lawrence for the 4th down conversion. The most unbelievable was of course Stafford running through Demarcus Lawrence for a pivotal 4th down conversion late in the NFCCG!

Stafford was on NFL radio tonight talking about the game and their loss. Rivalries aside, it was a great interview. He seems like a really really solid human being. He was complimentary of Kupp and our team overall, saying we were deserving of the win and that he expects us to win the whole thing.

Hard guy to hate. Unless you just want to dislike a rival teams players.
TBH i could not have hated the 2012-2014 era 49ers more than i did back then, but in retrospect i really admire the talent they had and i often look at some of the individuals they had with an enormous amount of respect.

Willis, bowman, j smith, a smith, boldin, gore; those guys were just ballers.

I didn’t like the way Stafford didn’t help that woman who fell off the stage during their Superbowl celebration. Seemed a bit classless in the moment.

But who knows, maybe he thought if he did go to help her, she’d find some way to sue him. All speculation on my end.

Stafford is a great QB, he reminds me of a new & improved Carson Palmer with some gunslinger in him. He is currently #6 alltime statistically just behind Rodgers & Favre.
We beat the best QB in the league on our way to a Super Bowl.
Hopefully Stafford retires and Stetson Bennett lV takes the reigns in 2026.
On to the Drake Maye party.

Sadly, you're probably right about this.

Plenty of ambulance-chasing attorneys out there looking to make a name for themselves.

Just remember, though, Stafford's path resembles Sam's path to a certain extent. Both struggled in earlier jobs. Stafford has had a good run with the Lambs. If Sam can do that well with us I think we'd all be pretty happy. Hell, he's only 28/29 now. He could have 8-10 more good years.

Yeah but....I'm sure Sam would've love to have been able to throw to Megatron for most of his career, though...

I was loving that the Seahawks won the division, but the 49'ers and Rams got wild cards.

I assume most everyone here felt the same way, but to take the glory of the NFC West further - do we want Stafford to get the MVP? And we probably have forgotten about it by now, but going into the Santa Clara game there was still talk that Shanahan should be coach of the year. He won't get it, but do we want him to? Personally, I see every reason to give it to McDonald, and despite Stafford's crazy stats, who is truly the most valuable player to their team, getting them where they got to? Sudden Sam.

I would much rather Macdonald get it, but that's just me.

Sure, my point is 'NFC West accolades' over our hatred for rivals.
I know what you meant. I was making a lighthearted joke in correcting the spelling of our Coach's last name.

That said, "NFC West accolades" of our rivals doesn't add extra points to the scoreboard, or extra W's to our record. Giving Shanny Coach Of The Year does absolutely zilch for us other than take it out of our 2nd year, 14-3, soon to be Super Bowl winning head coach's hands. Not really seeing any benefit.

I can't fight a straw man. But I'll spell it out a little better (I thought I already had). I want the SEAHAWKS to have EVERYTHING - coach of the year, MVP, Super Bowl, etcetera. But for those accolades that we DON'T GET - do we want our other division teams to get them?

Man, you're making me work.

But I don't think anyone else is really interested in this discussion, so I'll bow out....later.
