It think this is an important question for some of us.
I remember when we won it all having played through the gauntlet of the NFCW and the 9ers to get the honor of pounding the Broncos in the SB. I much prefer having a strong division, and everyone knowing we were the best of the best. I realize some don't care how they get the ring, because of the playoff competition, and I get that.
But if I have my preference? Having beat the MVP and OPOTY (regardless of McCaffrey or Nakua) twice, and one of them in the playoffs is saweeeeete! If our players can't get the award, then I'm happy we beat those that did get it. Makes our wins even sweeter, and their awards more hollow and bitter. Call me an evil person, I guess.
And truthfully, Stafford has been an amazing QB to watch this year; his accuracy, timing, touch, has been as good as can be. He probably deserves MVP. Aaaaand... we beat him. So there.
