I am so sick of the media slobbering over Stafford.

It’s making me sick. He IS NOT Tom Brady for god’s sake! They’ve been literally sucking his dick all season long. It’s so bad I don’t even want to watch the game because I have a strong feeling the refereeing will be in the dick sucking line too. Sorry for the vernacular but I can’t watch anything without the Stafford love fest. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Oh man, the coach of the Jets then was named Weeb Ewbank. Priceless!

I mean he did pass for 457 yards in OUR HOUSE. I don't think he'll be phased by the crowd noise. He's the MVP for a reason.

As for ref steering / incompetence, you never know. That first game against them was bad.

Part of me thinks it's just to drive ratings and create drama.

Think about it. If they all admit we are the better team and will likely just roll them... There's no excitement there.

Most people know we are the better team.

If they hype it as a matchup with the Rams are favored, it maximizes viewership and the opportunity to set a compelling narrative in the SB around Darnold's rebirth - he proved the naysayers (ie everyone) wrong and is now poised to bring Seattle a championship.

I personally think the hype around the QB position is way overblown. I mean, I think it's great that for example, Sam has gone 14-3 in back to back seasons, but to pitch it as though HE has done it alone is silly and he would be the first person to tell you that. Or that the matchup this week is Stafford V Darnold. No, it's SEATTLE vs LA.

We have returned to an era when, as when the Cowboys reigned supreme 30 years ago, the QB needs to be smart, efficient and get the job done when called upon. If Troy Aikman played today he wouldn't even be considered a top 10 player at the position. His stats were never 'Mahomes' - like in the regular season but he could turn it on in the post season when called upon.

Sam has already shown that even after some pretty bad mistakes in week 16, that when the game is in the balance and he needs to be perfect, he can be.

Hoping he shows everyone that on Sunday.

The media is just as bad as the fans

The QB drool drool drool

Nothing matters if you don’t have an elite QB drool drool drool

The QB gets me the most points in my fantasy football team, drool drool drool

It is the best 45 man unit that wins the Super Bowl, but all that drool prevents so many from seeing this simple fact

Hail to the QB

Take the knee to the QB

I'm thinking the fan noise may be notched up a level for this one. But we'll see.

The lovefest for Matthew Stifford is definitely annoying at this point.
Here's to hoping Seattle's DD will be extra motivated to put an end to it.

The D needs to lay a hellacious sandwich hit on him, early. Like that hit they put on Purdy at the end of the recent game in SF. Maybe also land on his right hand, for good measure.

They are calling the Patriots / Rams Superbowl is the highest intrigue and fan wanted game due to both of their offenses.

Donkeys dropped out of favor due to Nix's injury, we are choice 2 and 3 against the AFC.

I'm all for the media to slob on knob of Stafford.

We need a cocky Stafford to stand in the pocket only for the Dark Side to eat him alive or pick his balls.

In this world there is no team I dislike more than dislike the Rams. Of course the media is slobbering over Stafford because he is after all the media insiders choice for MVP. In a year where there should be other choices for MVP being the last QB standing to be slobbered over except Drake Maye we all have to listen to this rubbish continuously. The other two remaining QBs have their own stories of which the one that is most unfair is the nonsense that Sam Darnold chokes under pressure.

The Seahawks D is going to make life unpleasant for Stafford on Sunday, perhaps the media choice will then be Maye, b/c the narrative on stafford won't change until he hoists the Lombardi. Even then there are those who can never acknowledge they were wrong. Hope our D makes Stafford very sore on Sunday.
