Are you kidding me?!

The game at San Francisco is going to be a war with them having home field advantage.

Might be the only game all year we aren't favorites in.

By the time that game comes, I expect the Seahawks to be favored. The niners just don't match up well with this team anymore.

At century link stadium, I would agree with you.

More worried about New Orleans right now than the 49ers quite frankly.

Yep. If we don't win that game then the ninners game takes on even more importance.

Are You Kidding Me?

INCORRECT! & INCORRECT!

By the time we play either of those teams, they will have played each other and THAT, if nothing else, will determine which of our contests is 'more important'.

Think about it, hot toddies.

Our defense is well suited to limiting (read: exposing the flaws of) mobile QB's like Kaep.

I think Seattle sweeps SF and I don't think it's really even that close. Seattle will be hitting their stride in a big way, the Seahawks are a much better team (their DVOA is more than twice as far over league average as SF's), it's not a 10am game, and Seattle has an enormous scheme advantage. 49ers fans probably feel cocky when they play Green Bay, but that's nothing compared to how badly Seattle has SF's number right now.

That said, they better sweep, because the way the season is going, SF would win the division if they manage a split.

All I know is Kaepernick's yet to score a touchdown against us when it matters or against our starters. The only one he did, be it by feet or arm, was at the very very end of the game last year in garbage time. It was against as many 2nd stringers as we could get on the field. It was also 4th down where they only went for it so they could gain a shred of positivity or appease Harbaugh's very very bruised ego for a sliver in time.

The talking heads need a subject to entertain listeners. How the heck are they going to get anyone excited by talking about our next two opponents (Rams and Bucs)?

The key game for us will be winning in Atlanta, the key for the Niners will be winning in New Orleans. I like our chances against the Dirty Birds better than I do the Niners having to go into the Big Easy. The Niners also have the Panthers at their place, and that, too, could be an interesting affair. I actually like our chances of beating the Niners in their place than I do beating Atlanta in theirs.

Anyhow, it's all just random speculation. No need for anyone to be freaking out.

The talking heads or ignorant... We're as likely to lose to the Giants, as we are the Niners or Saints. The Giants are looking a lot better with Jacobs and Hillis; they're a team that can be misunderstood due to performance and gameplans developed early in the season and it's a 10AM game in December when it's colder than cold, windy and most likely wet. Atlanta in Atlanta at 10:00 AM is a sleeper game. Steven Jackson should be returning, Rodgers is a weapon, Gonzo is stiilll one of the best TEs in the game and Roddy White might get back to form... meaning their offensive gameplan could look different with new personnel.

I like New Orleans in Seattle and I don't think we're going to lose that one. They lost to a battered New England team in New England. No reason to think they should beat us in Seattle. Crowd factors and the Saints defense will give Wilson huge running opportunities if they try playing him aggressive like they do all the other quarterbacks. I don't think New Orleans will be able to contain Wilson without killing off their pass rush.

Oh yeah... That's right... We were talking about San Francisco in San Francisco. I think that's the game the Hawks are most likely to win, as they're not going to be overlooking San Francisco due to the implications of the game and we're already familiar with their play. If the W gets us the Division and Homefield Advantage, we'll win it, but let's worry about the teams we have to play before then... like St. Louis.

The Giants are looking better? Their only win has come against a 1-5 team who had arguably the worst QB performance ever and the Giants still barely skated by.

Our team continues to play with the big chip on it's shoulder.
This team has worked to overcome it's weaknesses (penalties, red zone results, 3rd downs ect).
Our latest big hurdle that was overcome is winning on the road. An incredible feat considering we have never been known as a road team and are right in the middle of destroying that notion.
The Seahawks have proven many things the last couple of years, but winning at Candledump is not one of them.
That changes this year.

Depth, Depth, Depth. We may be the deepest team in the league at many positions and are winning with both starting offensive tackles, and starting MLB on the mend.

I get it.
