I know there are reasons I could/should be……

…But I’m just not.

I expect to lose this game, and I hate that feeling.

It’s 50 years of being a Seahawk fan that drives my pessimistic stance.

I’ll be extremely content to be the fool that didn’t trust my team when/if we win.

Anyone else just not “feeling it”?

All three teams in the NFC West are so close that it's kind of a tossup whenever they play. I just hope to see a great game, obviously cheering for us to win, and since we're already in the playoffs I'm not overly concerned. Macdonald's Seahawks are so good on the road that it wouldn't crush me to not have home field advantage. The winner of the NEXT meeting between these two teams is the big one.

You never know what's going to happen in a game. Some games I feel a lot better about than others. This game could easily go either way. I do know this, though. There's no reason to fear or think this team is any better than us, even playing at home. If we play well in all three phases of the game, we probably win. We're just the better all round team now.

After watching the Niners Bears game closely I feel fine. The Hawks are a better TEAM overall. They are great on the road, and are taking this game very seriously. I am reminded of all the folks that picked Denver in SB 48 cause their offense was sooooooo unstoppable. Give me the best defense in these games all day every day and our run game is improving at the right time. I feel pretty calm about today. I think we win this one personally. Purdue’s record and stats against Mike Mac’s defenses is not great. If that continues Hawks are sitting pretty.

I’m basically at the same spot I was at when we played the Rams week 16. I have this terrible tickle in the back of my brain telling me to be concerned but I’ve decided that I’m going to be me positivity until there’s nothing to be positive about. We will win today and continue to do so until we take home the Lombardi on Niner turf.

I can never get myself to not feel like they have a chance to win. I just have to believe that there's always chance. I'll gladly wear the Homer badge every time.

Plus this the road to the SB might be just what the city needs to regain the Old School passion and undying support for the team.

And it's a Pope year. So it's divine destiny.

Just a little FYI if it comes down to it, a tie ( 🤮 ) gets us the one seed so although I want nothing less than a dominant win I’ll take what I can get.

Don’t get me wrong.

I know there is a chance, Hell I KNOW we are the better team.

I’m just not confident that we will win.

I worry about officiating
I worry about Sam
I worry about the Defense shiting the bed.
I even worry about that cesspool of field our guys will be playing on.

Again, it’s been 50 years of seeing this team fall short most of those years for various reasons.

I just can’t shake the skepticism.
Trust me, I try.

I have a bad feeling because SF will come out pumped at home and we cannot afford a zombie first half on offense which is what I expect. Dont have 50 of being a fan but do have 43 and know sam will be bad sam. Just a strong hunch. Hope like heck im wrong

Why does this narrative even exist anymore? Show me a game in the last 3 years where the field was trash. It's one of the best playing surfaces in the league

If that’s actually the case, I stand corrected.

The vision of that field I have is pretty 💩 crappy.

Admittedly I don’t watch the 9ers unless it’s the only game or playing the Hawks.

I’ve seen that field in TERRIBLE shape, and that’s what I remember. (Human nature)

I love your optimism! I’ll live with that maybe for the next hour. This wait is killing me, and I keep flip flopping with positive vs negative outcomes. I just want D line to pressure Purdy into early/late mistakes, and we will win.

The issue of the day is left tackle. How will the Niners overload that side and how will Mike respond. It's a 50/50 ball game and that's part of the fun.

The whole season has been a fun surprise, why not 1 more...

This is my take as well.
On offense, establish the run. The whiners dont have a pass rush with just 4, so they will have to create one by blitzing. If they don't blitz, Darnold will sit back there an pick them apart. I like Barner early, which force them out of stacking the box and open the running lanes.
On defense, our front four can create pressure. They have to stop the run and don't give Purdy the time he had against Chicago to find his recievers.
Here's to a great game with no injuries on both sides.

If I’m 💯

I truly believe our D will be ok.

I think the key to winning is protecting Sam.

If, and I mean “if”, if we can consistently protect Sam and give him time, I think we win.

I don’t want to see a high scoring game (both teams) back and forth with a last minute “chance” to win.

I have ZERO faith that we can overcome the officiating in that scenario.

I do BELIEVE wholeheartedly that the Seahawks are the superior team.
