I'm not really sure how you made so many descriptions of possible emotions and assertions about the season while completely not hitting on the way I feel about the season at all so far.

I felt we should be 6-1 right now like most on here. I figured we would have lost one of the two between Houston and Indy. And when you factor in injuries, I'd say we're playing just fine. Hoping the 11 days rest is enough for Breno. Bowie was atrocious on Thursday.

We should only lose 2 or 3 games MAX this year.

I'm excited that we haven't played our best football or had a healthy team yet, but have still managed to get to 6-1 with help on the way. I thought we would be better, but the fact that we haven't been perfect but still win may be the sort of thing that helps us fight through this whole thing all the way till the end.

We win the next four games....I'll be "walkin' on air"! :thirishdrinkers:

I'm really going to be interested to see how the Rams match up with Carolina. We have an equal-ish front 7 IMO and a much better secondary. Going to learn a lot from that game. At this Point I'd almost predict a 2-score hawks victory given that we'll have more time for film and rest and we seem to be ready in prime time. Our guys will be amped up to be playing for the second week in a row, on national TV, on the rode to silence the doubters.

My season prediction is 7-0 right now. And I'd say my descriptions are about as close as could be reasonable. So, yeah, I think I'm fine with where we're at, currently.

Record-wise I like where we're at. If you told me we'd be at 6-1 right now, with the 3rd highest points differential in the league, I'd be really stoked. So, for wins and losses, we're at where I thought we would be, or even slightly ahead.

If you would've told me that at one time we would be missing 4 of 5 starters on the OL, missed Harvin all year long, and still had this record, I'd also be jazzed.

Our defense is right where I thought it would be. We had questions at DT starting the season, so I'm not holding our run ranking against us, and it's possible that it's by design; the coaching staff and FO were willing to sacrifice a bit of run defense to up the pressure on opposing QBs which we've done.

The one thing I thought would happen is I a honestly thought we'd pick up where we left off on offense from last year. We really haven't, and there is a few reasonable explanations why, but it's still disappointing. There are a few things, like our passing game, that look like endemic problems and not something I thought we'd see.

Overall I'm happy as hell about where we're at, but we could be better and the team and Carroll have all said that. It's nice to see that we're 6-1 and still not happy with our progress.

Told peaches after the Atlanta game, that we were winning the Super Bowl this season and we're on track.

What's so cool about your post Frodown is the fact we haven't even played them yet. Prophetic that is my man :th2thumbs:

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
I ain't wearing jeans but i just finished copying a few Jasmine Byrne vids to a thumb drive for my wife and I to play in the Bluray player so SOMEONE is getting 'creamed' *wink wink*

But in all seriousness, I honestly didn't imagine 6-1 at this point. I thought I was being slightly homerific w/ my 5-2 expectations. So I am on cloud 12. And my wife is in for the night of her life! Might end up with quadruplets. TMI? :|

Right on schedule except I got the Houston/Indianapolis results reversed.

Same more or less. I assumed we'd drop one of those games. Not because I lacked confidence, but even the best teams in history have dropped couple/few games, and those two were tough back to back 10 am road starts.

Has nothing to do with lack of confidence just realism. I predicted 14-2 with us losing against Houston and San Francisco. Back to back 10am games are too much to expect winning both. And San Francisco is us just slightly worse.

This season has been a real surprise for me. Very nice. I think last year we had less impactful injuries and were relatively healthy.

I am also surprised we have so many new additions contributing.
