Of course we all want to Seahawks to win however having a down year or two especially right now with a new coaching staff can be a good thing. Think about who our best young players are on the team right now. Witherspoon and Cross have to be considered pretty much at the top of the list and what do they both have in common? They were very high draft picks. In most cases, you need high draft picks to build up a team again.

Having a 500 record may be OK for the psyche, but not for the ability to draft most top players. A year or two with a not so good record but strong core, and good coaching staff may be just what this team needs.
