I've been saying it for 3 years to my dad, I have wanted Bevell fired after the first season, He isn't that good of a play called and it shows. What more proof is needed?

They're great calls when they work, they're not when they don't.

if we fall short this season, bevell's amateur play calling will be a huge reason why. No Scheme. No design. Nothing to keep a defense off balance. Nothing to spring our wr's free. Honeslty, had Houston spied Russ the way Indy did with Freeman, we lose last week too. play action on 4th and 15? Read option (russ keeper) with no pass option? Yeah, the brain farts that led to burning all the TO midway through the 4th are unforgivable, but we still go the ball back and had a chance to score and the play selection was awful.

thats my point. he's overrated. his reputation was established in large part after the huge season Minnesota had during Favre's first year.
