No biggie. We can easily replace him with.... um... is Quinton Dunbar still available?

Jeez. We have to count on teams like the Jags to keep Pete and John from making mistakes. Thank you Jacksonville!

I laughed pretty loud when I saw that contract. He's about an 8 million dollar corner imo.
They literally paid almost double what he's worth. Great guy and I wish him the best. And good on him for getting his money. 29 million guaranteed, wow. And going back home too. Sounds like his brother will be joining him.

Well, good for him getting paid. Very happy it wasn't us spending that kind of cash on him. Solid #2 CB, potentially a 1B, maybe it'll all come together for him on the Jags.

Would have like to see Dunbar (if healthy) leveraged into signing a lower 2 year deal before this happened, but no biggie.

Is a roster spot for his brother included in the contract?
No, but we didn't tender him so he could go to JAX too.

That should be a third round compensatory for us next season unless we blow it by dipping into UFA too early.

He was our top CB and yet most of this time here he was barely an above average player.

Meh. A good human interest piece with the two brothers and while I wish him well I am glad we didn't try to pay him that kind of money even if we could have afforded it. He was decent but just not top shelf level nor shutdown at all. Not to disparage the guy but, ironically given who he signed with, I always kind of just considered him a JAG.

We are worse off without him but I don't think he is worth that contract.

No surprise .......

When they tendered Ryan Neal, that was a big plus. He enjoyed 34.1 percent of the snaps. Amadi accumulated 47.9 percent of the snaps during his second year. Tre Flowers 50.1 percent during his third. Quinton Dunbar 34.5 percent.

So, plenty of useful experience remains for 2021. That plus Carroll seems to enjoy the process of developing defensive backs and Schneider seems to enjoy bringing in new prospects.

I wouldn't even say he was above average. Average with flashes... good dude, just not a playmaker...

Makes Blair, Neal, Amadi, Flowers and hopefully Reed our secondary for CB and Nickel. If Dunbar is back ok, he was injured all last year so I don't think we really seen him play like he can. But so was Dorsett, he got fixed and healed and is now playing somewhere else. Another blown FA.

Good. While he was decent covering guys, I saw him jogging on the field and not pursuing tackles much too often to pay him top corner money. It appeared to me he lacked passion for the game, which is weird considering his twin brothers passion when playing. I’d rather spend that 15 million a year in the trenches.

Congrats to Shaq!

He got paid way more than his skills are worth!

And he gets to be closer to home.

Happy for him!

Hopefully, Quem, will also continue his NFL career.
