I think this would be the best response to the packer hate about the game from last year.

Let GT throw a pass or 2 tonight for funsies. Then if he throws a pick they'll all feel vindicated, and if he throws a TD pass, it'll be EPIC!

Make it happen 'Hawks.

In the 2004 Rose Bowl, USC's last TD in the game came on a trick play. Leinart took the snap and handed it off to RB Herschel Dennis who was running to the right. Dennis quickly handed it to Mike Williams who was running left. Leinart meanwhile was running down the left side of the field. Mike Williams took one step to the left and lofted a perfect pass to Leinart who then trotted into the end zone. It was beautiful.

I keep hoping to see this same play run by the Hawks. Was hoping to see it while BMW was with the team. Still would be cool to have it go Wilson to Lynch to Tate (or Rice) to Wilson.

Edited to add: You can see the play at 47:45 in this video. I tried to embed it, but the owner disabled that option.

Even one of our end around WR passes would be the PERFECT 1st play of the game. It'd be better if he threw it down field to R.W. but i'd settle for a toss to the TE or RB.

First down, RW throws a deep jump ball to Tate, complete.. and both Tate and RW take a seat for the rest of the game

Real simple . . . First play have Wilson drop back, Taterun as deep as possible, and have Russ throw it as far as he can . . . Jump ball TD.

Just get it out of the way.

It would be cool to see Golden Tate catch, run and throw a Touchdown against the Packers this evening. I have seen talk in the Packers forums about booing Tate when he steps on the field and whenever he touches the ball. So getting three touchdowns by three separate means would silence the Pack fans quickly!

Line up only Unger Wilson and Tate, and when the defense looks confused say "do we really need the other 8 guys." And Wilson throws a TD

Sales of Miller in Wisconsin would triple, and salt shakers would run dry all in one night.

I think you mean Schlitz. Packer fans don't spend needlessly.

No thanks. There's no point in giving away a trick play in a pre-season game purely for the purposes of petulant gamesmanship towards the opposing fans.

Got a friend down here that lived in Milwaukee all his life. He says they drink beer from microbrews and stuff that is imported from Europe instead of the "local" stuff from the major labels.

He likes Schprecher. A German hefe, I believe.

That's a very rare individual. I lived in rural Wisconsin for nearly a decade after my parents separated, and half of that state doesn't know what a microbrew is, and most of the remaining half thinks it's a beer that's only available in 45 or more of the 50 states.

Miller's made in Milwaukee; in that region, Miller IS the cheapest beer.

Um...Schlitz is made in Milwaukee. Miller Brewing co. is from Golden Colorado.
