"What Schlereth and a bunch of Geno supporters here are saying is that Geno can be good,,,,,if everything is perfect"I like Schlereth, but when exactly has Geno been exceptional? For a half a season in 2022 in his entire 12 year career. What Schlereth doesn't get into is the constant brain farts Geno has that he seems to never be able to shake.
What Schlereth and a bunch of Geno supporters here are saying is that Geno can be good,,,,,if everything else is perfect. Good Oline, good running game, receivers running perfect routes, and an awesome OC. Yeah that might get it done for him. It should because that would get it done for any NFL caliber QB. The problem is that perfection only lives in a fantasy land.
Also the excuses for his cumilation of interceptions needs to stop. The fact is he's thrown a crap load of them for whatever reason and he should have a lot more.
This ^^^^ right here is why these arguments end up as they do. This completely hyperbolic fabrication just throws gas on the fire. Not one person, anywhere, has ever said things need to be perfect. Everyone has been arguing that IF these things were at least competently league average, the offense and Geno wouldn't have these problems.
This type of bad faith argument is completely useless
