Smith has always been like that. That's why his ass rode the bench for 9 years. I was against the resign of this dude and I wasn't happy with the Grubb hire. Woolen is trash. I don't wanna hear about the O-line or play calling. Geno Smith has always been garbage. Our D played fine today. Our offense has lost us the games we lost this year. Imagine if we had an AVERAGE offense. Our D would have been SO much better.

We have an average offense. They're 15th in the league by yards per game, and 14th in the league by points per game. That's pretty much the definition of an average offense.

Geno isn't the answer but I hope we do not draft a QB in the first or second round. We have ignored the OL for a decade and it's time to start investing into it for once.

Similar problem the Patriots faced in 2024 off season. Do you draft a QB or OT in round 1? They chose Maye and are probably going to draft an OT in round 1 in 2025.

The Hawks could go OG in round 1 which would be the biggest change in JS that we have ever seen. But the flipside is more likely you see QB in round 1 and OG in round 3. JS likes to draft OGs in round 3 or later.

I just dont get his idiotic passes. He should've had 7 interceptions today..

On 1 drive, he looks like the best QB in the league
the very next drive he looks like James Winston.

Just a turnover machine

I'm okay letting grub stay another season. Geno I don't know about. I agree that I'd probably rather pay a rookie and put his money elsewhere, but trying to get this franchise rolling with a bad QB will be tough. We all saw Howeell the previous week.

But asking for the OC to be fired is a common occurrence here. Have we ever liked a OC? Even the guy we won a SB with everyone wanted gone.

I just don't see any QBs worth taking so the issue is easy. Geno is average but we have no run game because our blocking blows and has forever it seems. Build up a line and hope to get lucky in a couple years on a QB.

Maye behind a worse OL than ours and no good receivers held his own in a duel with Josh Allen today. As good as Joe Alt is, their future looks brighter for taking the QB.

Grubb absolutely has to go. Woolen is meh so yah we need to keep looking for a lockdown corner. Qb is tough. Geno is not a guy who can elevate a team. We need the future but unfortunately that ain’t happening this offseason. We don’t have a top 5 pick and the draft is weak. We are gonna have to roll with Geno until we can find that guy. Just need to protect better and run the ball better and he’d look much better

I think it’s way too early to say there won’t be a viable option in the draft.

Geno was lucky to not have more picks tonight even if the last one is on DK(we should find that out tomorrow). I’d still argue him taking the sack before the field goal was his biggest mental mistake of the game. You have to know the situation and he just often doesn’t. A veteran does not take that sack and he had time to think about it, I’m baffled by that way more so than the picks

Nope. I'm 100 percent done with the Geno experiment.

I'm okay moving on from him, but you do know like 75% of NFL fan bases are done with their current QB.

Like we could do a lot worst than Geno.

Yes the position needs to be upgraded, but QB's are hard to find.

Geno is and will always be a decent back up quarterback for when your starter is out for a game or two and maybe he’ll win one of the the two games your starter is out … but other than that he ain’t a starter or some team would of offered him money when he was sitting behind Russ but no one ever did … there was a reason for that …

Let’s do a semi rebuild , draft a rookie qb in 2nd or 3rd round on the cheap build the rest of the team through free angency and the draft and get the ship back on track and maybe at least have a chance … clinging onto Geno and letting woolen even step on the field after the last few weeks is not the answer just the same shit on a different day …

You have to know the situation and he just often doesn’t.

This is my biggest problem with him.

He's done a lot well and has made plays.

He can run a 2 minute and fund a rhythm and lead important drives

That all gets washed by the consistent poor decision making, lack of game awareness and what looks like a lack of vision

A little bit of pressure and these things just get worse

He's played too much ball and is way too deep in his career to expect any of that to get better.

No one said this season would be easy but what we learned is that this team needs a QBOTF a lot sooner.
I already knew that and wanted to move up and try to get Nix. Howell fans objected.

Geno aside, there is just too many sloppy mistakes. There were, for example, 7-8 presnap penalties to put Geno in a hole on first down. Still, the offense finally got a lead in 4Q but defense couldn’t hold.

Definitely just shear cost efficiency says pay a rookie instead of geno, whether he’s the QBOF or not
IF, we are lucky enough to draft a QB that looks better than promising, we need a QB to hold his place while he learns the ropes. Few QB's come out of College ready to lead a team in the NFL. Which is why I would have traded Geno before the deadline, and gone with what they have. Better to lose big, that to be a respectable loser.
