Context, the fan has a sign that asks "bigger bust: Jamarcus Russell or Geno Smith"

Another sign appears to read "Geno will lead the league in drop back sacks"
What an immature asshole. So glad this clown is gone. I still cannot believe some 12s were acting like we let prime Tom Brady get away.

Meh - adults joking around with each other

It's the schtick with those fans on the tunnel - doesn't seem to be anything serious going on there

There's also reports of Geno lifting kids down to the field to sign their jersey, etc

Yep some players can engage with fans without losing their emotions and treat a fan for what they are fanatic WOOHOOPPPP!!
I don't think Geno should, lol, I won't. But, I also won't bend out of shape when the recipient (s) ask for it.

As a Geno Smith fanboy, I suspect that there's some pent-up anger in Geno, and the poster holding boy triggered it. When you were paid at the lowest end for a veteran starting QB, delivered probowl level performance, and yet were unloved by your GM and fans. A guy like Russell Wilson can handle it internally, but Geno Smith obviously couldn't. I hope that he could, but he couldn't.

It looks like Pete needs to give hothead Geno another reminder...

I have just finished luncheon, just started by first cocktail, and still have time on my hands. OK here we go:

Decades ago, I bought the cheapest V12 on the market and was feeling pretty good about myself and my brand-new Jag. My buds took turns to tell and show me that their I6 BMW 635csi or V8 928 were faster, quoting from magazines etc. I laughed them off, but drip drip drip accumulated, till one night, under the influence of a few drinks and a bunch of chicks, I told them off.

Geno should be better, but pretend to be Geno for a sec. After taking the lowest vet contract among starting QB, delivered probowl level performance, then read dot net posts on him. If you enjoy the experience, you are more loving than Geno, heck, and toffee.

Oh, on the Jag, it wasn't the fastest, but that V12 was soooooooooo smooth, more so than all other V12 in early '80s. And it had a big trunk, perfect for weekends. Harry agrees with me :)

Did you leave your jag in Kansas City? Hahaha I agree geno feels disrespected by Seattle fans, SOME fans, and geno did play qb better than anyone believed he could. Pro bowl level, well yeah, superstar level oh neh neh, and then when your an ignorant fanatic like me and you think geno is a wimp and you can’t trust a guy who won’t eat a steak then Geno’s feelings don’t bother me, and actually I enjoy seeing him act like a fool cause it vindicates all my efforts over the last couple years to subliminally cause GeNo to think he wants to leave causing him to walk into the trap set for him by emperor Schneider and allow the Seahawks to flip that old house into a string of upscale condos. And beautiful car @toffee

I might be the first Geno advocate on dot net right after Wilson was traded. It was an uncertain time, there was young Lock, and unproven Geno. I put my dot net chips on Geno with multiple threads. He rewarded me with a playoff and two pro bowls. I am cool with that. Very cool factoring in that he was the lowest paid vet starting QB.

Last season, I did my 180 with the geNO posts, I so wanted him to seek a trade. He must heard me, old Pete engineered that trade in the flight to the combine.

Oh the Jag, in late '70s and early '80s, only Ferrari, Lamborghini and Jag offered V12, that was before Merc and Bimmer offered their V12 With the Italian being 2-3 times more expensive than Jag.

lol the fan is a big boy who chose to bring the sign there and needs to take it if he’s gonna give it.

Let me guess.. it’s ok for the fan to be an “immature asshole” but not geno? Because geno is held to a higher standard cause he throws a football far? lol

The "get over it" crowd continues to be totally over Geno. So much so that we're hyperanalyzing his behavior to continue to call him a POS.

Super over it.
