Here I am on day 3 of the draft. It’s seriously one of my favorite things of the year. Definitely the best football related part of the offseason.
For those of us that are draft nerds, what are some of your thoughts on the 2024 draft?
Here’s some of mine:
Thanks to the powers that be to FINALLY put draft announcements on hold until after commercials. Flipping between NFL network, ESPN and ABC, the commercial time is all sinked together and we aren’t missing out on any of the fun.
Random shots of drunk fans of teams as their pick is announced. Now that we are in the 4th round it’s even funnier as it’s fairly obvious that some of these people have no clue who the guy is that their team just picked. Even so, they go absolutely nuts about a guy from northwestern southern state college who they probably never heard of a minute before like they just won the Super Bowl on a last second play!
I both miss and don’t miss Chris Berman on the ESPN Broadcast.
