After reading the Packer forums I fell like I'm supposed to be ashamed we won. "We had the game a gave it to them." Bull! I felt that way for the first 3 quarters. During that time we gave them every opportunity to put the game away and they couldn't. They can complain about this or that play. This or that call. They can say we got lucky. But that was one of the grittiest defensive performances you will ever see. Packers played a hell of a game, but I will remember Richard being unable to use his left arm and tackling some guy on 3rd and 7 forcing a punt. It was emblematic of the attitude the Seahawks played with. We needed some breaks in the end of the game, but that just evened things out for all the breaks we gave them in the beginning. We capitalized and scored 7 when they could only get 3. Sorry, but I'm not sorry. Best team won. Go pound sand.

THEY were lucky that we gave them 5 turnovers which allowed them to be in this game. We out rushed them, out passed them. Our defense dominated them. If not for the 5 turnovers, it wouldn't have even been close.

The fact that the Hawks had 5 turnovers and still only needed the last 3 minutes of the game to take a lead tells you everything you need to know. GB did not "give" the game away, they couldn't capitalize and put us away early and because of that we wore them down.

At least one Packer fan thinks we should just say thank you for the gift. I will agree to thank them for the last three minutes of conservative playcalling and the botched fielding of the onside kick. But they should first thank us for the gift wrapped entire first half! They should have put us away. Every other playoff team would have. They didn't because they were not good enough today.

So Packer Fan, you're welcome for the first 30 minutes and thank you for the last three.

Exactly! I have a thread about this same subject. We outplayed them when it counted.
How many times have Hawk teams in the past played well enough to win, but couldn't finish the deal.
Its good to be the King!
