NFL FOX Sunday (Strahan, Long, Johnson) all agreed that of the nine 2-0 teams, the Seahawks were not “for real”. Reason, we had a great culture coach and coach MacDonald has scrapped it all. I can’t wait to see them eat their words!

pretty much the "good ole boys" club is all they are at this point. Which means they don't like and are hesitant of the "unknown" so then when it comes to eating their words, they can minimize how dumb they look and sound with excuses like "He's a new coach, 1st time HC etc etc" and if they look right they can do the "aha! told you all!" crap.

These guys all here for the Niners and the Rams to win so if they are wrong, of course, they are considering Seattle, “pretenders.”

The Seahawks have been “pretenders” probably 90 percent of the franchise existence.

It’s nothing new to me but these so called “experts” will see these 2024 Seattle Seahawks aren’t to be taken lightly and passed over automatically.

Been a Seahawks fan since the NFL announced a Seattle expansion team in 1974. Understand east coast bias, but I really hope this is used to keep chips on the shoulders of the team.
I started in '86, plus I lived on the east coast for 16 years during the hellish 90's, so I'm still salty from that era too. And totally agree, I hope the team is listening to the media disrespect and develop a conspicuous attitude that shows up on the field.

They beat a bad Denver team and a mediocre Patriot team.. beating these teams does not make one team world beaters, just good enough to beat a couple of mediocre teams.

They beat the Broncos in week one, and they beat the patriots in week two.
Both of these teams were considered to be in the bottom third of the NFL this year. They will start getting recognition when they beat somebody of merit.
Yeah and the Broncos are currently putting in on against the Bucs, another 2-0 team. Wins are earned every week in the NFL regardless who you’re playing.

I like our chances

Yeah I caught that this morning. I was surprised how quickly they all said no. So succinctly dismissive. Definitely bias there.

At least Long alluded to the new coach and how we are building a new culture. But Jimmy Johnson looked like it gave him a woody just to immediately jump in and say no.

Screw them. Boys, go make them eat crow.
