Without getting too much into whether or not his personnel moves were good ones, he is probably over-involved in personnel and he's created drama with multiple coaching staffs, which is where I think the Al Davis comparison comes in, and I think it's a fair one at least on the surface.

I understand your position, I just like Adams. Maybe I'm biased (we already know I'm racist)?

I think that position, which I was just trying to explain more than anything, is something that I mostly agree with. Adams is old and wants to win a Super Bowl before he dies, which I think encourages his sometimes erratic behavior.

I would consider you more of a sexist and an ageist who hates babies instead of a racist. All great qualities to have, mind you, so don't be insulted.

One guy I wonder about will be Mike Tomlin. It goes against tradition to fire a SB winning coach after just his first losing season, but Pittsburgh looks like they could end up with 3-5 wins, and that would make them the perceived most disappointing team in the NFL. When Mike Holmgren had a season like that, he made the decision to walk away before that season even began, so he retired with some dignity after that season ended and dodged a bullet. Will Tomlin? I guess we'll find out.

I thought about broaching Tomlin because the fans are always calling for his head, but I thought that might be too much of a reach. I think it'd take 2 bad years, honestly. Pittsburgh tends to be pretty loyal to their coaches.

Stealers main problem is keeping older players. I say they deserve to be in the crapper though.

I'm going with a complete dark horse: Mike Shanahan. Daniel Snyder doesn't seem like the most patient dude and I don't see the REdskins being very good this season.

I'm probably wrong, but if i'm right, I look like a genius.

Alright. I'm feeling pretty good about this one now.

Yeah, but Ryan has won a game this year, Shanarat has not, and they supposedly have a good team.

I'm going with Jason Garrett, somehow, some way.

That's a good one. And, I'd love it.

I have some Cowboys fans as friends, and they had to gall to talk about their safety play and brag about that win. Yes, seriously.

You have to understand the Cowgirls. That clownshoes performance last week against the Giants is what passes for good safety play for them these days. Seriously. That secondary is brought to you by the same ameteur GM that is on record saying he does not need to invest in the OL because he has a mobile QB. They pay Carr $50-large to play man coverage in a 3-4 then the next year bring in grandpa Kiffen to install a 4-3 cover-2 zone scheme. Just be thankful for the FO and HC we have in Seattle. Other fans have it much worse.

Anyway, I'll go completely off the wall and say Mike Tomlin in Pittsburgh gets the surprise first axe of the season.

There's no way the Rooneys fire Tomlin, especially during the season.

Ron Rivera. Another 2-8 start and he's done for sure... but I see 3-5 thru the first half, and the Panthers at 6-10 overall. To salvage the young team, they fire the coach, and bring in somebody with fresh ideas.

he gets my vote too

Watching the Skins today, I started to have these same thoughts.
