Contriving effective adjustments is what game planning is all about. It is heartening to see Grubb figuring that out, but I think that was made more possible due to improved play as individuals working together by the O Line. Did he manage to do both in two weeks? Whatever, it has made a big difference in level of team play in our favor. Sure hope they can do it again this week vs the Pack.
It was hinted at that they have learned to work with the players they have, doing things they can do, rather than trying to force things they can't. Mac said something similar the week or so prior to the defense turning things around.
On offense, i think its been a combination of the coaches getting more experience and figuring thjngs out (this has been hinted at in several interviews with Mac), the scheme being tailored to the players, Grubb refining his approach, and the roght guys being on the field - and then them developing continuity.
So its more a perfect storm of things happening right now than any one thing.
And its alllll goood.
