Through nine games, Wilson has been picked ten times. His worst season was 11 in 2016. This is not a product of passing the ball more when you consider this is is highest interception rate to date. Add in three lost fumbles (although today’s against the Los Angeles Rams was really on Kyle Fuller) and Wilson has 13 turnovers in nine games, with ten of them coming in Seattle’s three losses. Another way to phrase that is Wilson has ten turnovers since the bye week to just nine total touchdowns.

Interesting how all your posts about Wilson are negative and implying he does not care. Hmm

I don't think Russ doesn't care, it's more that he, and really we, are being figured out.

We no longer have a running threat, so they do what anyone would--run a blitz to force him into making a throw that ends in a turnover, then keep the ball against our hapless defense.

“Interesting how all your posts about Wilson are negative.” You should do some home work on my post history all year before you type something as dumb as that. Don’t be butt hurt when I call it like I see it.

If someone make $30 million a year, they better be damn good at their job (which he has been) Once he starts losing us games like Sunday I’m allowed to criticize, my opinion is he’s doing too much off the field and getting away from what made him great. He 100% lost us this game with three crucial turnovers (two picks and one fumble he had his hands on and refused to just fall on the ball) People can label me whatever they want, it’s just their opinion, it’s not gonna ruin my day.

Same page... it started with the 4Q and OT of the Arizona game where the Cards did their disguised blitzes and the Hawks failed to pick it up, and AZ repeatedly hit and hurt Russell. Buffalo and the Rams did almost the exact same thing, to my eyes, with the same results. AZ provided the template. Schotty (and Russell) simply haven't adjusted. So we'll keep seeing this scheme either until Russell gets battered to a pulp and injured (and then Geno will see it) or until our Offense figures out and consistently punishes this scheme.

What do you suggest? Trading him?

No not necessarily, I think Russ possibly needs to chill out on extra activities outside of football during the season especially when him and our OC need to study to figure out how to remedy this new plan defenses have to attack Russ. Him saying he’s already the best QB in the league right now on his podcast and in interviews also makes me nervous, he used to say he strives to be the best ever, maybe he’s losing that hunger a little bit? However if Russ keeps up this super bad turnover issue he’s had this year and the coaching staff had some crazy plan to offload Russ maybe I could be on board with that, I can understand how having a QB making $30 million a year turning the ball over a ton would be hard to deal with. At the end of the day I’m a Seahawks fan above any players or coaches.

There are clearly people who WANT Russ and the team to fail so they can pump their chest out and tell us how right they are. Unreal......

Noone is suggesting you cannot criticize.

But you have zero idea how much time and effort RW puts into his profession. And to infer that a podcast is showing a lack of care for his profession and that is costing the team games is a silly assumption, rightfully called out.

Russ has had a bad stretch of games. All QBs go through this. It is compounded by a struggling defense and an empty backfield to help balance.

Zing!!

I love how Rodgers can do a weekly show appearance and Brady can promote his brand but Russ doing a podcast is just too much. He, the guy who plays behind an average O-line and a terrible defense. Playing with less around him than Rodgers and Mahomes, is the guy we need to shame.

Russ has never had a down year and has not even thrown Mahomes or Brady’s high in interceptions. Kind of sad how some of you speak about our franchise QB. He’s not allowed to falter like the others

This right here, 100 percent accurate ^^^^^
Nobody is denying he is in a mini-slump. But with what he has to work with? And behind that Defense? Come on. He's clearly trying to carry the team on his back. IF this was a pattern at ANY point in his career, I could see it. He's had a few off games w/some really bad decisions. Because NO other QB's do that exact same thing

Russ is not your busboy. He can have a life outside of football and getting 30 million a year is average for him at this point. No other QB has been asked to shoulder as much as he does. Not one.

Any fan who’s that frustrated by his streak of turnovers is a selfish spoiled brat. Brees, Brady, Mahomes have had more interceptions in a season. Let’s trade him if that’s how most of you feel. I visit other forums and very few fans bash their successful franchise QB more than a certain group of Hawks fans. His good years aren’t good enough. His out of this world streak of games is supposed to be the “norm” when no other QB was playing at that level at the time. And now that he has a rough stretch all the nasty comments are coming out. It’s disturbing. We can criticize his play without being over the top

And I may be a Russ homer or whatever, but after what we have seen from this guy over the years? I can't fathom being overly concerned about this guy. Very few have come back after off games like this guy has.
He didn't just become some second tier QB because he's had a little slump for HIS standards.
How spoiled and unrealistic has this fanbase become? Wow
