I'll make my predictions after the draft and free agency. We really have no idea what our roster is going to look like, at a couple key positions no less, until late spring.

Not seeing a ton of FA losses that would make a giant difference. Staying healthy through the season is the bigger factor and you can't predict that.

We don't know about Lawrence yet and there is a chance Nwosu gets cut (and possibly they try to resign at a lower cap hit). Both would make a huge difference if gone.

Macdonald's ear can't even handle a little Gatorade and people are expecting him to handle success? These are the highlights of my expectations for next season:

-Sam Darnold: PUP list. During a drinking game in the offseason, his buddies perform a satanic ritual that requires him to answer a single question without praising his team. Darnold pauses, stutters, and hiccups before entering a catatonic state. He'll remain in a psych ward hereafter.
-Mike Macdonald: Hospitalized. His kid gets an A on a spelling test and it's just too much success for his success allergic biology to handle. Several dozen fractures. He's laid up the entire season in a full body cast.
-JSN: Arrested for prostituting himself on the street for cash. He's seen easily evading arrest until the officer's bet him several grand he can't catch a taser. The previously conscious receiver does so with one hand, outrunning vehicles in literal traffic. Despite the confides of his cell, he is still not pressed.
-Ernest Jones: Suspended indefinitely due to failure to attend practices, meetings, and games. On an unrelated note, reports of verbal altercations with a large black man with "crazy hair" from chronically online individuals grow drastically. They report him visiting them at their homes and having a couple choice words before leaving. Over the span of several months of these altercations, the national GPA average rises drastically and Tiktok goes bankrupt.
-Devon Witherspoon: Doesn't play a single game. Repurposed as a ballistic missile by the military. Never sees use. The threat is enough.

Overall, we see the single worst drop-off after a Superbowl win in the history of the NFL, but we we still beat the Rams.
You went dark but you understood the Assignment :ROFLMAO:

a lot are saying predictions when I said expectations those are two different things.

Super Bowl, a bit more work than this season's walk in the park, but super bowl nevertheless.

I never said "a ton", I said at a few key positions.
  • RB Kenneth Walker
  • CB Riq Woolen
  • LB Boye Mafe
  • S/CB Kobe Bryant
  • CB Josh Jobe
  • WR Rashid Shaheed
All of those guys are most likely gone and they're all starters minus Jobe. I heard Ty Okada may replace Kobe Bryant but that's it. Charbonnet is out until October it sounds like so who will carry the rock at RB? Who will replace Woolen opposite Witherspoon at #2 DB? Can Horton stay healthy enough to replace Shaheed for 17 games? Uchenna Nwosu may get released if he doesn't restructure so there potentially goes Mafe's replacement. And I haven't yet mentioned the buck naked Emperor in the room, Anthony Bradford. Something needs to happen there this offseason or we're in for another year of russian roulette on the right side. Oh, goodie.

So, do you get it now, Mav?

none of those guys are key core players, they could all go and it won't make a bit of difference. They will re sign Jobe or Bryant. Maybe both. We are 37 million under the cap. That's HUGE.

OTC has us at 58mil under the cap. I'm not sure that includes little Drake's contract but we can gain some money if we release Nwosu

I think they try harder to keep Bryant and Jobe. Starter or not, stats or not, Bryant is an underrated part of what this secondary does schematically, and a lot of the better pundits have called him a critical piece to keep.

The others...well, we might get three to four third-round comp picks in 2027. :)
