Even better to the Ops point is that somewhat by chance in the way the chips fell last year, this organization has surrounded Wilson with talent and a host of offensive weapons. I think potentially Wilson could accomplish the most productive most successful performance that any QB has had in NFL history. Of course there are tons of factors involved, but is it too much to expect Wilson to break some records this season?

He broke the rookie record for consecutive passes completed last year in the Miami game already.

OK, rookie records are no longer an option to break, and as far as efficiency goes are we talking team records or NFL records? Team records.....sure NFL records......I just don't see it.

I think we proved with our draft that wilson probably won't have the stats to prove to be the 'best qb in the league'.

All i care about are W's.

I don't care if wilson throws for 180 yards and 1 TD every game, if it's a W then it's a W.

Not only that but it works the other way too. This is the first time the team and coaching staff has gone from one season to the next knowing exactly who their QB for the forseeable future is.

So, Pete Carroll made the decision to start Wilson from the get-go, based on what?, Wilson's abilities to thoroughly digest the play book at a rapid pace, and get the team to rally behind him?
It was pretty tough for the Matt Hasselbeck fans to accept the fact that he just didn't fit with the direction that Pete, John, and Darrell were wanting to go with the Offense, thus, the merry-go-round of QBs being given try outs.
I wasn't so sure that Pete knew exactly how he wanted to shape the Offense beyond Marshawn Lynch, and Tom Cable's power line.
Obviously Pete figured out that he needed to begin building the CONTINUETY with the Offense, and Wilson met, and conquered every challenge thrown his way, and that proves that Wilson is able to adapt at break neck speed ,and that alone distinguishes any of the Sophomore Slump that prognosticators are trying to sell.

There are a lot of Matt fans and not all of us cared about this crap. The offensive plan has never changed. Pete has always wanted a power running game to be the focus of the offense.

Okay, so why then did Pete go and get Matt Flynn, draft Russell Wilson, and let Jackson go away?
I mean he (Pete) must have wanted to expand on the Quarterbacks involvement, and add another facet to the Offense, because he obviously didn't feel that Jackson, nor Matt Hasselbeck were the answer.
We already had Lynch, so replacing Jackson wasn't a priority?
