Thinking back to the whole season, lots of props to Brian Flores and Lou Anarumo. The 2 games where the opposing D really shut down our O, especially in the first half were the Colts and Vikings games. The Vikings were the only D to really shut down JSN. I don't see the Colts as having elite talent so the job Anarumo did in that game and game plan going in was so good, he was the reason that game was almost a loss, not Rivers.

Good points. I think we learned a lot from those games that really helped us in the Playoffs and SB. It seems our team really developed as well as came together as a team through the year. Many teams obviously can’t say the same. Huge testament to our coaches and players.

Brian Flores D certainly did a number on the offense, and while I wished the offense found a bit more success than it did, it wasn't surprising especially when he was so familiar with Sam's tendencies and everything.

But I was surprised at Anarumo and what he was able to do.

Though I do wonder if it was more his defense coming to play and try to stay alive in the playoff chase with old-man River(s) OR a case of the Hawks looking ahead to the big Showdown next Thursday night against the Rams?

(maybe it was a bit of both?)
