you didn’t stack your Oline or your Dline though, not how you could of stacked them anyways. I get Pete has this build a defense from the outside in formula that sorta seems to work for him, but all of that corner and WR talent will die on the vine, again, if you cant beat us in the trenches.
If Purdy recovers back into the form we saw last year, our super bowl window just opens wider and wider with Football Jesus leading the charge. Kid dosent make mistakes. They signed two DE's (Ferrell, Bryant) that will get a great career boost just like Ebukam. Hargrave absolutely destroys with the pass rush, something the 49ers need because Bosa wasn't getting much help. ESPN is a bunch of hack writers who don't really know much about the west coast outside of the Lakers and the Dodgers. PFF ranks the 49ers #2 and the Seahawks #11. Seattle did little to improve their run defense and that's a problem against the 49ers.

Stop it man you lost credibility by thinking Bobby Wagner is a downgrade. Especially over Cody Barton. This defense will be vastly improved against the run. We also brought Jarran Reed back into the fold. Also having a healthy Jamal Adams and rookies like Dereck Hall and Spoon and Young will without a doubt pay off. That’s what you get when you fleece another squad of there draft capital and players

No doubt Bobby has lost a step, but he wasn't the problem in LA last year. Aaron Donald (ever hear of him?) was hurt, and they lost a ton of talent on the D-line, including Sebastian Joseph-Day, Von Miller and Ogbonnia Okoronkwo. Not to mention that they lost Ejiro Evero to the Broncos. Even a young Bobby Wagner would not have saved the Rams last year.

I would point out that the 49ers specifically got Javon Hargrave to get better against the run, and Hargrave is not good against the run. The Seahawks did not get Dre'mont Jones to be a run stopper, but as a pass rusher/disruptor at defensive end. So while your criticism of Jones is off the mark, it applies more to the 49ers off-season moves.

Adding Hargrave to the 49ers reminds me a little of the Seahawks adding Sheldon Richardson to a strong defense and D-line in 2017 (Bennett, Clark, Reed, Jefferson, Avril). He didn't make as much of an impact as people had hoped, and the Seahawks missed the playoffs that year.
