Frodo, the Seahawks have not won more than one playoff game since 2014! And 5/8 of those years they did not make the playoffs or had one playoff game and lost. Quit living in 2013. The Seahawks playoff record since 2014 is 3-6. The 49ers playoff record since 2014 is 6-3 and their record since 2019 is still 6-3! The Seahawks legacy died with Marshawn Lynch's tears at the one yard line in 2014.

Not to mention how quickly things change in the NFL. Maybe this is the year that defenses catch up to the Shanahan/McVay running scheme.

Now that you mention it yes, I’m worried about all of those things. If our new right tackle ends up sucking hard, and Trent and CMC get hurt, that will be bad.
I still think, if the Hawks and Niners play their best games we would probably pound you on the ground. Hawks would likely win the passing attack because you have a better qb. Games should be fun!

And from my perspective, the 49ers, when healthy, are the best team in the NFC. The roster is still pretty well-stocked despite taking a few hits. I don't wish injuries on anyone, so what I'm hoping for is that the loss of coaching talent--Saleh, Ryans, McDaniel--will take its toll. What I'm looking forward to is the aftermath of the Nick Bosa contract. That's when the 49ers' roster construction gets a bit harder.

i don’t know if we are better than Philly, they are loaded all over the place, and have a better O line without a doubt.
But ya, my Digits are about to start paying franchise quarterback money to a defensive end, a position that is only on the field 75% of the time if you are lucky. I suppose it’s a good problem to have. I think.

You lost many good free agents. Ebukam is a freak and Ward was your best safety. Hufunga is slower than molasses. At least you drafted a safety before trading up for a kicker. Hargrave absolutely gets tossed around against the run. Should be a good two games but don’t be surprised if we stomp your asses twice again like usual. ESPN ranked our roster higher. We’ve had 2 years to stack. We didn’t just stack for needs we stacked by best available and it is paying dividends.
