Richardson was pretty good although injury prone. This is Dee Eskridge's year to make it happen or he's down the road. Barton isn't great but isn't as bad as people think . He's serviceable. He was taken too high though.

We've made more crap picks than that.

Let's talk about Trey Lance 😂

2013 was 10 YEARS ago. Also if Schnieder and Co can get this iteration of the seahawks past the first round after they caught lightning in a bottle in the 2010-2012 drafts , I'll believe in him as the superior GM
Schneider is already a superior GM. He’s built 2 superbowl championship teams from scratch. What has Lynch done? Lynch came in with a full cupboard of picks and over a hundred mil in cap from Trent Baalke and proceeded to pick Thomas and Foster with his first 2 picks lol Any other GM would’ve had a chip by now given how good of a coach Shanahan is bud. Without Bosa you’re a 4 win team at best

I think you might need to do some Lombardi inventory there Frodo ? 🧮💻
At Green Bay he was a big part of putting together a team that went from winning 4 games in 2005 to winning the Super Bowl in 2010 that JS built and managed. Seattle won a Lombardi under JS. Am I missing something? His pedigree of drafting well goes back practically 30 years. He even took Lynch under his wing and showed him the tricks of the trade tbh

P-Rich was really productive when healthy. The problem for him was durability, due to his size. But he was a solid player. Got a nice contract from Washington too. Injuries unfortunately held him back. But he was far from a bust.

Malik McDowell was basically the Niners version of Reuben Foster. Both we're complete turds. Huge Bust.

Cody Barton, was a solid special teams piece & adequate fill-in. He was also a 3rd round pick. Nothing special. But he wasn't complete horse **** either. Just a guy, who probably shouldn't have been a starter.

Blair just couldn't stay healthy. It was a miss.

Eskridge is still TBD imo. He's been banged up for a good chunk of time. It's kind of a make or break year for him to be honest.

McDowell & Collier are undoubtedly the worst of the bunch.

Yeah but he wasn't the GM. Ted Thompson was the GM. That's like saying the OC and DC of a superbowl winning team are superbowl winning coaches. They are not. They are coordinators. Valuable experience no doubt, just like Lynch's playing experience and superbowl is valuable.

No it isn’t lol
Comparing Lynch to Schneider is like comparing Hunter Biden to Albert Einstein200

Not that I don't enjoy picking on Lynch, but I think it's well-documented that picking Trey Lance was Kyle Shanahan's idea. Shanahan's been interested in the idea of a running QB ever since he was RGIII's offensive coordinator in Washington. Shanahan loved taking advantage of having that extra weapon of a running QB, the mismatches it creates, and how difficult it is to defend against. The same reason he likes to have Deebo Samuel run the ball. Lynch's reaction to Shanahan's interest in Lance was initially, Are you kidding me?

Yes....but Hargrave is a DT. Its not an apples to apples comparison. I liked Omenihu as a third down guy, but was largely unimpressed with Ebukam. Much more of an athlete than a good player.

They have one of the best D-Line coaches in the NFL so they always try to get guys off the scrapheap and get some production from them off the edges. Kerry Hyder, Arden Key....those were those guys in the past. You can see in Hyder the diff in production as soon as he went to Seattle. This year its Bryant and Ferrell.

As another poster said tho...the one to watch is Drake Jackson. He's put on almost 20 lbs after kinda wearing out late in the season. Its why he was available in the 2nd round anyway...same issue at USC because they moved him from DE to OLB. 49ers moved him back to DE so we'll see how he plays this year. Uber athlete. I think their hopes are on him developing.
Drake Jackson is the perfect example of a potential stud player whose college career was largely wasted due to attending USC during the Clay Helton era. I hate that he’s now a 49er because I have to root against him.
