Does anyone else find it increasingly hard to get into...

non-seahawk games? I just find myself not at all intrigued in this st louis vs san fran game. I just find it hard to care about drives not involving the hawks unless I have a fantasy player on one of the teams

I feel the same way a lot but I find this game interesting. I want to see how the rams look and also want to see the niners lose.

I've never really been into other teams games.

I don't care about too many other players outside of Seattle. I like to catch AP and AJ Green plays, that's about it though. De-Andre Hopkins is starting to turn into someone I might keep an eye on, he seems pretty talented.

The NFL is largely a boring product, imo.

I still watch it because its football. But i'd much rather watch a random NCAA football game then a random NFL game.

But I will say that the absolute worst football game is better then the best soccer or baseball game, and 99% of basketball games.

My problem are fairly crappy MNF and TNF games. I used to have people over for every MNF game and last week I didn't even turn the game on.

Pretty unchanged when it comes to good matchups though

I love foot-a-ball. Hawks are my second love, but the game...I love the game.

I'm the same way. I love football though so I'll watch whatever's on. But when it comes to the Hawks I get excited. Lol

I really love the game and normally will watch whatever is on though I find myself increasingly getting bored after the first half or so of non Hawks games.

To me, and I don't want to sound disrespectful, but this is crazy talk. I love the NFL. I think there's Seahawk fans and then there's football fans. I am definitely both.

I guess the best way to find out which you are, is to ask the question: IF (God F'n forbid) the Hawks were moved away from Seattle, would I *ever again watch NFL football?

*As much as I love the game, IF they moved the Hawks, even I might sit out a year. But ultimately, I'd be back.

I've got a lot of family around the States, mostly in the New England area, and the Great Lakes areas - so I have always kept a pretty close eye on the games there just so I have better-than-ESPN-highlights knowledge of those teams, to banter with the family from time to time. With that I'd call myself a fan of the game of football and can find intriguing highlights in even the lowest of games. Hell it's a ton of fun to head to the local Friday night field with my 5yo son and watch two random teams go at it, with no personal interest whatsoever. Same kind of thing: fun to watch.

I was a football fan before Seattle even had a team and still watch all the games. I might not be as engrossed in a blow out as I am a close game, but still leave them on until it is over. Like they say, it aint over til its over.

Oh boy...you gave me a good laugh. I hope you were joking.

You'd rather watch some college team win 68-3 over some crappy team? NCAAF is a joke. I can't believe anyone takes it seriously. And that's not even taking into account determining a champion.

There are teams I hate watching (NFC West, Cowboys, Steelers) unless it's to root against them when they're playing a team I don't mind or have a soft spot for such as the Ravens or the Saints.

I also enjoy yelling at the TV in order to 'tell' the coaches to feed my fantasy players and to root against the opposing fantasy team.

The NFL would be dead to me if they did this...just like the NBA is now.
