I think that Wilson is okay staying in Seattle...with big coaching changes.
I am skeptical that he wants to give it another year, another go with Carroll. Nor does that have to be personal. A good many coaching-QB relationships do not last this long.
So even if Allen wants to avoid change...
Even if Carroll is deluded enough to think that he's close...
Even if Schneider is excited for the next draft...
I think that Wilson blows up those plans. It's quite simple. He has already positioned himself to want to stay in Seattle, but to also be fine playing elsewhere in the NFL (his statements). A conversation has, or will shortly happen, where Wilson makes his position clear to Allen. Stay in Seattle under new coaching and management that he is involved with selecting (a lot of wiggle room in that last) or trade him to an approved team for as much as the Seahawks could get for him.
