It seems everywhere I look online I see the hate. I ignored at first but now I feel it is my duty to defend. I do not know these players personally but I do feel like after all the years I have invested into this team I should say something. I am so sick of the Sherman talk/bashing. The PED talk. the coach is a Rah Rah idiot who cheated in College.
I know you also make your own bed and must lie in it!

But the past two days I have really been getting angry reading things from Facebook to Yahoo.

I went to the damn store to get a Pizza and the Saints fan I met last week congratulated me on the game and said, Too bad Sherman just made a ton Of Bronco Fans.

I think I better stay home and turn off the Internet!

This team has done SO much good in 4 years and especially the last 2 years to get us where we are today, But it is not talked about .
People would rather bring up negative crap than discuss the thing that matters most. THE GAME!

Maybe I am just being a homer sissy..

Or, maybe just embrace it. They were talking about that idea on the radio. Face it, we are bad asses. Big kids on the NFC block. We have a mean defense, a penchant to knock guys on their butts. I say, embrace the hate. There always has to be a dark side.

It is what it is at this point. I just support our players and embrace who they are as individuals. These are young kids for the most part. When i was in my 20's I can think of a dozen times i made a fool out of myself 100 times worse than Sherm ever has. Got to keep reminding myself these are really young guys after all and on the biggest stage, stuff happens.

They would have never covered the Seahawks anyway.

MAYBE they would have covered Russell, had he had a better game or won it with a last drive TD or something.

But otherwise everyone is excited about Denver.

All the Sherman rant did is at least get the Seahawks noticed a bit, maybe will bring some shine on the Defense as well.

I for one am LOVING the hatred. I would have loved for the team to come out to the song "Am I Evil?" but since Metallica sold out I can't stomach their music no matter how fitting. This team needs to follow Sherman and embrace the role of the bully. We always used to joke we are the New Raiders, now we can own that title.

Being the bad guy is more fun.

Stay off the steaming piles of crap we call Facebook and Twitter, both are a colossal waste of time and energy.

I ignore it. No sense in wasting energy to fill a vacuum.

I ignore. It was funny reading the donkey's fan forum on Monday. They seemed to not even be aware we had a defense much less #1 rated. Some are catching on today though and it will take them a while to catch up. Their in the AFC after all, and people in Colorado aren't that smart anyway.

We all we got, we all we need.

You want to jump on the Bronco's, it's a pretty ride. Kind of like driving a Volvo, really safe but kind of meh.

Or do you want to ride the Bugatti Vayron. Totally unsafe, unhinged, raw power and speed with a little FU to top it off?

defend all day. my twitter is twerking.
question, what is with all the "now I'm a broncos fan" crap. shouldn't these people be cheering for their own team (oh yeah we the last ones left lol) good. I don't want no bandwagon fans hopping on for the national game anyway.

Man i usually ignore it but i went onto foxsports and two of the main stories were 10 reasons the donkeys will win the super bowl and a polarizing story on how seattle is stealing the 12th man from a&m. It was ghe final nail in the coffin and it pissed me off

Common sense and reasoning with never change anyone's mind, it will just frustrate you, so don't even try. People don't know the facts, they just jump on a little blurb they saw on the news. I heard one reporter say that Sherman's angry was do to all the adderal, one said the rant made her a Denver fan. Best just to ignore the ignorance, you can't change anyone's mind.
I have been putting up for years with my good friend, and my BIL, who both continue to repeat the "Pete the cheat" rumor's. When the subject comes up, I tell them I don't wish to discuss it because they are relying on rumors and not facts, so it would waste my time to discuss it, not to mention it will surely pizz me off listing to their ignorant rants, so let's change the subject. It's not worth my health to get upset over another persons ignorance.

Wait, Metallica sold out? I don't really follow them, but are they not hard rockers anymore? Are they a vanilla pop group now? :?

Fan since '84. Been through ALL those years of ups and downs, hating my own team at times (in a respectful unhappy fan sort of way), saying I'll never watch another game (I might miss a game or two to
show them, but them I come back), then back to loving them when they beat our arch-rivals (days of AFC West and Oakland and Denver).

And now we're in THIS position? The best two years back to back EVER (that I can remember). Hell, I am ALL IN. I have full confidence they can win every game. Not always happy with the offense, but
I know our D will ALWAYS keep us in the game.

So yeah, let the haters hate. I just laugh, point at the scoreboard, point at our standings, and just laugh. No way all that negative crap is gonna being me down. I'm riding this one ALL THE WAY IN.

I get a kick out of how seriously so many people are taking it. I mean, jeez, get a grip.

When people are that crazed about something so silly, I can't possibly take them seriously enough to feel the need to argue with them.

You realize these are the same idiots that think Russell Wilson is too short, not good enough to be the ROY, Seattle can't win on the road, the Clink is an unfair advantage, that everyone on our team is taking PED's, that PW is a cheater or that the whole team are a bunch of cheater thugs.

You are never gonna be able to educate everyone. Some will always choose ignorance. Let it be enough that we know the truth.

Richard Sherman is a Alpha male type who plays elite against the elite at a corner stone position. Sherman had real beef with the 9ers he said it all week so i respect what Sherman did he was'nt fake. Wonder what the 9ers/Harbaugh would have done if they caught that pass I doubt it would have been respectfull.

First off, we have nothing to defend. Our team is here for a reason. Our hawks prove it on the field, time and time again. I hit the ignore button everytime I hear people/media talking crap. Nonsense. I do tune in when a balanced article or media discussion is in play.

That may be harder to find, but it's out there. I listen to a lot of talk radio and every other sound bite is about how great the Seahawks defense is followed by caution about our offense. Teams, fans, and media are jealous of our success. That's the way I see it.

I tune in to my heart and love for how dynamic and charismatic our players and coaches are, and the rest of the negative becomes just that, static. As seawolv, above said, "we know the truth".
