??? DK has ALWAYS been a team guy who gives props to his teammates. Don't just make stuff up. Par for the course I guess with DK Satan.
Not making stuff up at all.

Think I said my piece(s) on both DK and Lockett last season.

My point was that this was encouraging. Apologies for being optimistic. :)

You made it sound like it's a surprise that DK would talk up a teammate. He does it on a regular basis.
Credit Sharing has flat out never been an issue for him. Just an observation by someone who likes to stick up for Satan, aka DK.

First time I watched JSN play was in the Rose Bowl. A WR coming off a great season playing in the biggest game of his life, really showed up. 17 catches for 347 yards in a bowl game is stupid crazy stats. My thought at the time is we will never suck bad enough to get him. An injured filled Senior year had him drop to number twenty and we grabbed him. I didn’t think my old body could pull off the cart wheels it did when we selected him. Before training camp last year I proudly bought his jersey. After a developmental year, I expect big things out of this kid. He is the real deal

I don't think he's Satan (and I've said that to you several times). I do think he had a severe discipline problem for a couple of seasons. It was also compounded by the fact that Pete wouldn't do anything about it. Can't help but notice: new coach. Better attitude.

It's nice to see a more grown up approach. If he can stave off the 15 yarders this season, I will be the first to congratulate him.

Had a nice game Sunday. I got no pitchforks for DK. I was trying to give him props for F sakes! :)

I never dreamed we'd have a real shot at JSN. I was in rehab on draft day, and a friend (Lions fan) and I wrote on a white board in the TV room our top options for our first-round picks (we had #5 & #20, Lions had #6 & #18). I was holding onto delusions that Will Levis would be highly-regarded enough where QBs would go #1-#4 and we'd get to steal Will Anderson Jr at #5. Well, of course the stupid Cards had to trade their top 4 pick to a team that didn't need a QB. Anyway, I wrote that if that didn't happen, I wanted to either make the gamble on Jalen Carter or make a "slight reach" for JSN, who I was convinced could go as high as Atlanta at #8 and had an absolute floor of Green Bay at #13. Teams kept passing and I was like "omg omg this might actually happen". Then that girl goes "Jaxon Njigba" and I just lost it. That had to be the most excited I've been for a pick since we took Shawn Springs back in '97.

I didn't even have JSN listed on my top three options for #20 because I assumed he'd be long gone. I forget who I had at 2 and 3, but I remember my #1 guy was Florida OG O'Cyrus Torrence, who even made it past our second rounder and to the Bills at #59, so shows what I know.

It was the tenth time since I started following the Seahawks in the mid-90s that we took the #1 player available that I wanted when the pick came up, and just the fourth time it happened in the first round.

Odd way of giving props, the old good job, but......

Do you, it's clear you'll dwell on his past all season, and that's cool.

Not dwelling on last season at all.

You said I was off the rails, and I told you that I articulated several issues 2 and 1 seasons ago, and I'd be happy to not see them rise again.

Not sure where you're getting this from. You saw the penalties that he had a discipline problem/agression issue with for a couple seasons, didn't you?

Not looking for a fight here. You want to turn a compliment into a slag? - go ahead. No problem. I've said the last thing I've got to say on this thread.

Fair enough. All in how you interpret it. Ain't no thing. Go Hawks. Go DK.

You flat out made it sound like DK giving props to his teammates is a surprise. When he has been doing it since he got her. He's always talking about his teammates. Not some of the time, ALWAYS.

Bought his jersey as well but, mostly because I’m an OSU fan.

Happy to see him getting looks!

I just want to say it’s nice to see a well written comment from you! Especially one using good grammar!

Props to you on this and hope you can keep it up.

I’m being so optimistic and positive and not at all passive aggressive about discussing you, right??
