We made their defense look like the best defense of all time. Wilson chose a terrible game to have his worst game as a Seahawk.

The refs stunk but what else is new?

Dunno, I'm mad, I'm tired and I'm just pissed off and can't believe the Cardinals of all teams beat us in our house, breaking the streak.
Right there with you Aros. Really have my doubts about next week's game too as a result.

Who is ignoring it? Do you think pouting on the internet in thread after thread is somehow addressing it? Get a grip...

How many mini slumps has the team been through? Be pissed about it sure... The world isn't coming to an end no matter how much you want it to

If we can't make adjustments for the Rams than sure.

For now..some fans just need to suck it up and deal with a loss

Ball security, Aros

With a wrinkle...we wan't the OTHER team to secure the ball! Pretty clever, eh? Bet they didn't see that coming!

Now all week long I get think about Piggy Bruce standing triumphantly on the sideline. Man, I wanted him to eat his words about 'no dominant teams' in the division, but today he made a good case.

This is fallacy. Blowing a nut about our record while ignoring the painfully obvious shortcomings of our offense is a bad idea.

Without wholesale improvement across the board on offense, we are f*cked. SF kicked our ass, the weak Giants held us to mostly FGs and today was just pathetic.

We can't run the ball, Wilson is getting killed in the pocket, and we don't have a WR who can take over a game.

The fallacy is losing your confidence over the team adjusting.

We've been here before..both offensively and defensively and made adjustments

3 weeks ago we were crushing the Saints. We were a couple missed plays from beating the 9ers, shutout a team on the road... But as is our fan base we go absolutely mental when we crash...

Every NFL team has a week (usually 2-3) like this a season.

The championship teams address, adjust and progress

This one sucked. I think we get better from it

+1

I get everybody's frustration, I really do, and obviously there's some things to work on before the final game and the playoffs.

But the level of doom and gloom in this and other Seahawk fan forums is Beyond ridiculous.

Now, all a sudden, we have virtually no hope of reaching NY in February and winning a SB. That's because we're gonna lose next week, anyway, blah, blah blah.

Give me a F'ing break.

We're gonna win next week, because, this team is too good to choke it all away, and they've been clutch the overwhelming majority of this year. Today was the exception, not the rule, moving forward.

The Rams? Yep, they are a scrappy bunch, and have given us close games and handed us a few losses over the years.

But the hunch here is that Seattle won't lose 2 in a row. Not at home. Not to anybody. The Seahawks are smart enough to adjust - believe it or not - and beat a team they're flat out better than next week.

Some people here are going to be LAUGHING at some of the remarks they've been making a week from today.

I wonder if Russell will make a comment again this week about how much he likes to be blitzed.

Three games in a row now, our offense has had major problems to varying degrees, and it's only getting worse with each week.

Worst case scenario, we just peaked at the wrong time. The last three offensive efforts have been just plain bad.

<<<< NEWS FLASH >>>>

It's OKAY for FANS to VENT AFTER A SURPRISING LOSS.

Quit persecuting those of us who need to vent and have legitimate beefs after being beat by an inferior team at home!

GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE AND LET US VENT!!

I would call you douches but that would be against the rules so I wont.

There is a difference between being concerned and straight up over reacting to a loss. The cardinals played lights out defense. They sent the house, Tackled Marshawn and the corners made plays in 1 on 1 situations and even then they still needed 2 or 3 game changing breaks to beat us. We can beat any team on any given sunday, but we also can be beat on any given sunday.
Criminy. I hope people are happy with this sort of rationalization when we get knocked out of the playoffs. "Well guys, they made plays. Any given Sunday."

The most depressing thing about this game? It brings back all the thoughts of "same old Seattle" in regards to the sports history in this town.

And if it's deep depression you're after, consider the monster the NFCW is turning into. Every team capable of beating the other, and the worst team, a QB away from being arguably the best....while holding the #2 pick in the draft.

I'm so sick of posts like this.

This one made me laugh...during the game when Turbin fumbled, I couldn't stop laughing with my family. We were on the ground laughing because it was so ludicrous!

1) Turbin is a horrible returner, he has almost zero change to take it all the way, so there is no reward
2) Turbin cannot secure the ball. He always returns kicks while the ball is fully extended away from his body
3) Why couldn't the coaches put this risk versus reward into perspective? Zach Miller would have had a better risk versus reward ratio, because at least Miller would have kneeled in the endzone.
4) If you're going to keep Turbin out there, at the very least TALK TO HIM about securing the ball properly

Your first line is meaningless. Do you think "being calm and collected and putting this loss into perspective" is doing anything different? This is a message board and we are fans. Whether we pout, point out obvious deficiencies or pretend as though they are not there, it doesn't change anything with the team.

The assumption I have because we're thin at WR & Corner.

Bevell? I thought Bevell was pretty good today. Golden and Kearse were both dinged. That is going to mess up the rhythm. I thought we had a lot of good matchups down the field today against the blitz. Guys had a half step all day long and Russell erred on the side of caution, rather than giving the guys chances to make plays. I would have liked to have seen some more underneath stuff against the blitz, but for the most part we picked it up fairly well and Russell had some open guys. He just wasn't sharp. Not sure you can blame that on Bevell.

Blame Bevell.

Any defense that plays like that deserves to win, and only the utter inability to deliver by our OC allowed that game to end that way.

Our OC is becoming as effective as Harvin, and if we end up missing the big game we can level the finger of blame squarely on him.

I am upset that Turbin fumbled the ball. But he shouldn't have been returning kicks in the first place.

Bevell is responsible for the entire offense, something that has been barely performing under his watch for weeks.

I don't enjoy the Weak Link and not sure what we can do to overcome him as we stumble into the playoffs.

No, Pete Caroll is responsible for the entire offense since he is Bevell's boss. He hired him and he let him make the game plan. While I seriously would like to see us recruit a much more creative and experienced OC this offseason, you have to wonder if part of this may be PC himself.

Starts with the O-line for me seems like there was constant pressure on RW especially up the middle. Could'nt get anything going in the run game and pass protection was pretty bad at times. I think the hawks will have trouble with the O-line until they get the LG situation handled, might be ok against average DT's but the Elite DT's will probably continue to have big games against our interior lineman becuase of a weak link in the chain.
