Should they look into using the RB order or rotation differently based on the defense we’re playing? Seems to me like Collins was niners hamstring. He’d hit to gaps asap with urgency gaining some okay yardage. Which seemed equalize against the speed of the miners defense. Where as Chris Carson’s stutter stepping/dancing and hesitation before he would run to the gaps would give just too much time for the Niners defense and his gaps were closed. Felt often times he went more backwards than forwards.
Not saying Collins is better or worse than Carson however, I am saying for this game against a faster defense Collins seemed to be better.
