When your name was announced by my beloved Seahawks in the second round, I of course jumped to a negative pre-mature conclusion simply because I never heard your name mentioned by the "genius's of the draft" like Sand Piper and company. After watching highlights of you at A&M and doing some general research I began to become increasingly more excited about what you can bring to the team. It was a classic Pete an John move, just because we have a top 5 running back doesn't mean we should ignore talent when we see it. That is what I love most about our front office; the relentless pursuit to upgrade all areas regardless of what is already in place. As the days passed after the draft the more excited I became at the anticipation of your strength, speed and overall explosiveness. Not only would opposing defenses have to worry about tackling Lynch, but adding to that would be your game breaking ability, that of which Robert Turbin simply has not fully solidified.

When preseason started you were for the most part, exactly what I wanted to see. I saw a dynamic running back that not only made big plays, but displayed great strength at the point of contact and seemed to always maintain forward momentum after the initial hit. Several times I also saw you flat out bulldoze defenders. Yes, there are times when you decided make a cut back and risk a loss of yards for a potentially bigger gain, instead of getting the "ugly 2". For the most part I am OK with that, it shows that you desire the "big play" which would be a great compliment to what we already have in Lynch.

Pass blocking and protection schemes: Christian, you have been in camp since May, there is absolutely no excuse for you not to know them. Are you not studying the playbook and putting fourth the mental preparation on your off time? Do you realize how lucky of a position you are in? Playing for one of the premier teams in the NFL, with the expectation of playoffs and superbowls.

You need to step up and contribute, not only for the team, but especially for yourself. During his rookie year, Golden Tate was declared inactive for the first game of the regular season in 2010 because of poor focus and lack of attention to details. But guess what? He decided to focus and eventually improved, which is what the team needs out of you. Your ceiling is way higher than Turbin's, and you know it. Your improved play will result in Lynch and Turbin to not get complacent, which will in turn rub off on all positions and make the overall team that much more improved. There are definitely going to be a game(s) this season when our offence will need a spark, why not you?

Most RB's would have trouble getting playing time when you're on the depth chart behind Marshawn Lynch. You can only dress 46 players on gameday and need to leave room for special teams.

Decent chance he's active for Jacksonville with Ware injured for a couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing him.

Don't 12 year old girls on face book make fake letter posts like this?

Before anyone answers this question...think of the jail time. j/k.

I want to see him as much as anybody (maybe more?), but to write a short letter directly to a player is a little presumptuous. He might read it, who knows?

I thought his name was Christine Michelle!

He and Sydney Rice talked to Shawn Alexander and Matt Hasselhoff about this problem. It never really goes away.

Cam Chancellor is a team leader, they should ask him!

And there is an excuse. It takes time to get better at these things than a probowl veteran running back and a polished blocker
