Crap. I completely forgot about Earl Thomas being a Raven...

He scares me far more than Sherman. Russ better be careful against our first ballot HOF'er back there. This ain't gonna be an easy game me thinks. Not to mention he's probably got some stupid, unwarranted chip on his shoulder against us.

Thomas is not having a great year. In fact he is playing a bit afraid, Raven fans are not too happy with him.

Good to hear. I haven't paid any attention to how Earl has been doing there. Thanks for chilling me out! But he may be playing with a bit more incentive on Sunday. We'll see.

I live in Baltimore. I haven’t heard anything that supports Ravens fans not being happy with ET. Fact is there really isn’t much of an opinion either way. He’s not having a great season vs what he did with the Hawks but he’s ot having a terrible season.

I just hope he's cheered when he takes the field. He WILL be in the Ring of Honor one day. And most certainly the HOF. He is the most amazing defensive backfield player I've had the honor of watching. LOB baby!

On the Raven boards from what I've seen they aren't too happy with him, and the defense as a whole.

Earl's been pretty good from what I've seen. PFF has him at what 8th among safeties? That's not bad for a guy coming off a broken leg.

Ahahahahahaha!

Tenor

If you're scared of Earl then don't bother going outside at the end of the month, Scoob. All sorts of scary things then.

Hes the weakest part of their secondary. I hope hes burned often. All hes got is his mouth and shitty team attitude.

The Legion of Boom was always about team work. The whole was greater than the sum of the parts.

Individually, they're not as good as they were. Not to mention past their primes.

We'll see. I'm looking forward to ET over extending trying for Russ's 1st int of the season and getting burned by DK.

:snack:

I would be more worried about Earl taking a shot at one of our guys, ya think he flips off Pete again, he was pretty upset with the Seahawks.

Pretty sure I haven't seen Earl lighting up the highlight reel this season other than the shot that knocked out the Steelers backup QB. This is 2019 Earl, not 2014 Earl. Not. At. All. Worried.

Now Jackson? Yeah, we had better clamp down on that young man or there will be problems.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2 ... s-weekend/

"Thomas said at a Tuesday press conference that “nothing’s really hit me yet” in terms of an emotional reaction to being back at his old stomping grounds. That doesn’t mean that he hasn’t considered what will happen this weekend.

Thomas said he hopes to “get a couple of cheers, not too many boos” from a Seattle crowd that respects what he did during his time with the Seahawks. He also hopes that his familiarity with quarterback Russell Wilson bears some fruit."

Seems to be a lot of hate for the dude on this forum. I don't think that is the general feeling among the general fandom. Me...I remember the guy strapping it on for SB IL when he was very banged up and battled like a gladiator. That's how I want to remember him; not based on a single bad moment when he was emotional and did something uncharacteristic. I certainly don't want to be remembered for my worst moment.

I understand the NFL is a business and business decisions were made. Many greats finish out their career at a place other than the place where they earned their greatness. Earl, Sherm and Kam...Seahawk greats forever. LOB!!!!
