So, he caught the ball, was moving forward with three clear steps towards the end zone, falls to a knee with ball still in possession and then his forearm hits down with the ground popping the ball loose.

I think the Hawks match up better against the Pack than the hulking Dallas O line but methinks the Cowboys got jobbed.

No, Detroit got jobbed.

I agree 110% but that doesn't change the fact that calling that incomplete was the wrong call. Detroit did get jobbed, and this is some cosmic balancing of karma, but still the wrong call.

As someone else said, if that's a catch then earls was an int.

Dez should have tried to make sure he secured the catch first. Getting the ball on the one yard line is okay. Trying to reach into the endzone for dramatics may have cost them the game.

It is Karma. Dallas got away with a bad call which there should have been no debate where this one could be argued. Either way I am glad GB is coming to town.

I wanted the Cowboys to lose and laugh at the reversal.

But does this 'feel' like a win to anybody?

lame way to end it.

I don't think they got jobbed, same rule that wiped out an ET pick yesterday.

......and I am wrong and they did get jobbed, so be it, their season should have ended last week but was extended due to crappy officiating.

Taking 3 steps is not a football move?

Absolute Horse**** call.

Let me guess, Dallas fan?

That is the same referee that called the infamouse incomplete pass on Calvin Johnson.

There is quite literally nothing about yout post that is factually correct. He did not catch the ball, he did not take three steps or have possession, and his knee did not touch the ground before the ball popped out. Not sure what you were watching.

Probably the right call by the book, but not really in the spirit of the rule. Next year I think they specifically classify reaching the ball for a marker a football move.

yes, everybody in the world calls that a catch. Strange NFL rules make it not a catch.

It shouldn't matter.

The Cowboys had earlier gotten a TD off a ridiculous phantom pass interference call where the receiver and CB just got their legs tangled.

And yes, if Bryant just hugs the ball and rolls he gets a catch, it was his stretching for the TD that cost him the catch.

Either way, the TD taken away makes up for a TD they never should have gotten in the first place....

Feels like possible justice for what happened last week in Dallas, they shouldn't have been playing this week.
You live by officiating, you die by officiating! End of story!

Everybody in the world, except, you know, the ones that matter...

How does not liking a call make any of us a Cowboys fan. It was a bad call. Post game makes it more clear to me. His abode actually touches down before his forearm and the ball dislodged that's crazy.

Dez did not have full possession as he was going down. So it does not matter. Fierra explained it correctly. I know it pisses off Dallas and others but the way he explained it was to the letter of the rule. Until they change it nothing will change.

The call was just explained perfectly.

The main key was "the process of going to the ground" and those steps were "the process"..
By rule they got the call right.

Yes I would be out of this world pissed off, if that happened to us but they got it right.

The ET call was clearly the right one. Love the Hawks as much as anyone but the point of the ball touched ground for ET before completion of catch.
