I read that Kupp's preference is Denver.

My belief is that Kupp is the primary reason that Puca Nacua was able to walk into the NFL and be as good as he is. That's basically unheard of these days for any WR, let alone a slot that has so many decisions as the route unfolds. Then add the positioning and body control.... Kupp isn't worth 12mill per, but if he can raise JSN's level of play like (I believe) he raised Nacua's, he's worth more than face value and probably 10+/- ...in my opinion.

Also, I hope JSN can be more than a carbon copy of Kupp. There should be opportunities for JSN to play wideout with Kupp in the slot depending on who else winds up as X (probably from the draft, maybe MVS?).
Well that's pretty random.

Any reason why he would prefer going to the Broncos?

Jerry is a cheapskate so it should be interesting. A battle of the two cheapskates: Jerry and John.

(Chill John fanboys, it's a joke....sort of)
Sounds like we have 58M in cap room and Jerry has 44M. Don't know if those #'s are up to date. Come on John, get him.

He and Jax would wreak havoc in the middle of the field with MVS stretching. And all of our RBs can catch. We could have the lethal dink and dunk game that always used to shred us. Throw in some deep passes and a run game and we are solid.

We had 60M but nothing is out yet on the cap hits of our FA signings. My guess is we’re right around 30M. We could free up another 10M restructuring contracts.

I was reading some of the Rams boards and a big concern of mine is that the Rams evidently were not interested in bringing him back even with a reworked contract. Makes me wonder if the injuries from the past 3 years are just too much for him to overcome anymore....

Lots of reports out there right now about the interest for Kupp, Saints apparently in the mix now. Speculation that his price might be higher if the Rams had released him earlier. Numbers from 12- 15M thrown around. Hopefully John can put a competitive package together.

I dunno about Kupp. Great player, obviously, but kinda seems like the injuries have caught him up? There might be a reason why the Rams haven’t asked him back on a new cheaper contract.

First post with my new account. Hello everyone, former user Jerhawk here.

I believe the Seahawks should pass on Cupp if the asking price is anywhere north of $12 million/year. He’s a very talented player, but injuries have slowed him down.
Personally, I’d like to see the team acquire a couple of rookies in this draft and develop them.

Ian Rapoport specifically mentioned Seattle & New Orleans as front runners based on latest reports. A lot of clamor out there, who knows what the truth is.
I'm good with paying a little extra if they think he's still got gas in the tank.

Rumors now that Seattle is out and it's Denver or Dallas.

Probably no one knows until he let's it be known and everyone is just writing stuff for fun.
Agent stuff. Probably tryin to get Hawks to up the offer.

You know what...as long as it doesn't keep them from developing young talent or negatively impact the cap then what the hell...bring in Kupp! We could definitely use a veteran presence and who knows, maybe he is able to help mentor JSN and make him even better. Plus it would be a good story. Limit his PT if necessary to keep him healthy and he may push the needle and help get 1-2 more wins than we would have gotten without him. It's not my money! :)

Aros got me back up and running. Long story short, got a new phone last year and couldn’t get signed back in. Tried making a few profiles which were immediately banned and the web browser would literally prevent me from accessing the site, one by one.
Had to factory reset my phone in order to get back. It’s been a long road.

Finally, I have officially returned

Well, damn, that’s quite the ordeal. Sounds complicated but should not have been. If that was the case, well, then, Jerhawk, welcome back!
