Whatever. A win's a win for me. I gave up trying to label them as 'good' or 'bad.' Sure, some of them are ugly, but all wins are good in my book. :)

There were many talking heads that discounted the narrow wins against the Rams and the Bucs. Now look at those teams. The Rams are beating the Bears and the Bucs are about to get out of Detroit with a W.

The Bucs loss to us was a key turning point for them, in my opinion. They could have used it as an excuse to give up or an opportunity to say, "we can hang with the big guys." It seems as if the latter has happened.

2-0 against TB and STL. I don't care if we win by 50 or 1. When you're decimated by injuries, you just try to get by.

The Rams also ran for 260 today. They are doing something right in the running game.

And we blew AZ out in Phoenix. The Cards have been playing tough. Especially now against mighty Andrew Luck.

Their key player is Ellington. I don't know why they didn't use him against us, but he's a playmaker when you get the ball in his hands.

Interesting... in the past it's seemed that teams LOSE way more often than average the week after playing the Seahawks.
The theory was that we're such a physical team we leave opponents physically beaten down for their next game.
Apparently Tampa Bay and St. Louis failed to get the memo.

This is the way I see it as well. The Bucs put their best effort forward against the best team in the NFL and almost won. I see the Bucs game as a win/win game, Moral victory for them and learning experience/reality check for us. It helped both teams become better.

I'm sure glad we got the Cards and Rams road games behind us. Both of those teams are playing really well and would be tough to beat in their houses. Heck, they're going to be tough to beat even with 12th man assistance. We'll have to bring our 'A' game.

The schedule has lined up perfectly for us this season, with the bye coming late and our last two games at home. Carolina is the hottest team in the league right now, and we got them out of the way early. The Giants losing to the Cowboys pretty much torpedoes the slim playoff hopes they might have had. They could be playing for draft choices by the time we get back there.
